By not doing so,would football truly be evidencing just how rotten to the core it is.
We wave Ukrainian flags, bow the knee, clap like seals and make all manner of human rights protestations but when the Money Queen appears,we all want a piece of her.

This one follows one held in Russia.

They'll take the knee, and prove their hypocrisy.

It's another thing that grips my poo.
We had a few flags flown and some banners "supporting" Ukraine but guess what...we are still seeing wholescale slaughter ;hospitals bombed, refugees shot and child cancer patients losing their treatment . Nobody really cares that much . We'd be seeing Russian Embassies under siege if that were the case. We d see demos like Grosvenor Square but this war isnt about nasty USA but mother Russia.
Hypocrisy.
Now we're looking to join the other nations in Qatar for a Tournament that is stained as was the Moscow event from hell.

Nobody outside of

England (only cos in own backyard)
West Germany
Argentina
Brazil
Italy
Portugal

Had any realistic chance of winning it in 1966.

Euro16 was far more competitive and a greater achievement.

Euro 16 qualification was made easier than in previous tournaments. That’s why wales qualified.

Has the English football team also moved rent free into your head ?
