Brandon Thomas-Asante : Why this player and why now for Swansea ? 30th Mar 2022 10:23
With nine goals in some thirty games this season, Brandon Thomas-Asante of Salford City has become a target of numerous championship clubs. Swansea City seem to be leading the way at this early stage though. 0

Glad to see your little black book is working.
Sad life you lead.
Opinions can and do change hourly and daily, based on moods, performances and results.
Only you and a few others are inflexible
Hey ho

My views are completely flexible. I react to what happens.

If we win 50 in a row from here I’ll be all aboard the Martin train.

Was it the last minute win against the worst side in the league or the 0-0 smashing at home to Brum that flipped your “Martin out” stance?

Sounds anything but patience to me.

We play a unique style, what’s the point in sending them to play another one when he says that he then has to essentially beat their old way of playing out of them and start again?

Surely it would be better, in a period of patience, to show patience to these players instead of showing none?

I said very similar earlier this season in another post and surely if this is a season of transition where "failure" will be accepted surely we would be better using the likes of Ollie and Brandon Cooper, Whittaker et al who are ours and "cheap" and playing them to work and gel into the system so the process progresses next season...otherwise there will be a new process as any player coming in will not be used to playing the Martin way even if we brought in some current Man City players they would struggle in Martins system and style..not because they arent good enough in fact they would probably take control during the game and then be called out....

Absolutely.

I still can’t get over his “hopefully we can develop Man City’s player” comment. Season of transition as a notion died there, if it even had a pulse anyway.

Just nonsense.
