Ludicrous really isn't it.
Catholics Crossing themselves ,Muslims looking to Allah and probably born again Christians praying to the Living Jesus Lord.

Issue is this.

If you are Allah and two players from opposing sides are both praying, who does Allah support. Same with Catholics really. If a catholic misses a goal is it God's fault.

Personally,I d ban any form of religious signalling

Feel free to delete thread if this offends but the truth it is.

I hold no religious beliefs, or believe in spirits, talking to loved ones who are gone etc, but if others do that is fine by me.
As long as no one tries to enforce their beliefs on me, not sure where the issue is

Exactly! I make the sign of the cross and say a silent prayer before I eat to give thanks what harm am I doing

When I was a referee I would make the sign of the cross and say a silent prayer before each game to keep me safe

What harm am I doing

I could go on, in total I probably make the sign of the cross about 10 times a day

What harm am I doing

Exactly
Not harming anyone.
See many players thanking their God after scoring.
Usually quite happy for them ( not so much when against us )

Nobody is harming anyone

I will repeat that

NOBODY IS HARMING ANYONE

What I am asking is who God/Allah backs. If you can't answer the question, don't respond with sentimental religious trash.

It utterly evidences the vacuous of signalling .

My old fella being a Welsh baptist and naturally a bigot, used to get truly angry at people crossing themselves as it took away Jesus glory on the cross It got him a bad as craven images

Swansea city is in reality a American Welsh owned football club in the English Football leagues based in south west Wales. I am perfectly happy to see the club being a US -Welsh entity and want to see the links expanded and improved.

For this reason was pleased to see Arriola and Morris here and would like to see Swansea players in the US leagues on loan. Players like Garrick and Brandon Cooper who need 100 games under their belt asap. for example. I feel Dhanda should have taken a short term financial hit and gone out there where the game may have suited him better.

In terms of religious aspects Swansea will be a 75% Judeo American (Jewish) after the conversion of debt into equity and 25% Welsh Christian owned business. Jewish players are rare. Scheckter was one and Joe Jacobsen a Welsh u21 player with Bale has distinguished him self in the lower leagues notably with Wycombe Wanders.

Seeing is believing but true believing is believing without seeing.
