I've no criticism of Viera being on the pitch, like you say he had every right to be there, just talking about his actions, he was clearly provoked though. |

Don't you have to be in fear for your own safety? Viera had turned to walk away then turned back and swang for him, the berk had obviously found the trigger words but those words won't be a defence, the pictures show the berk wasn't being physical.
I have to admit here, 2 weeks back after I had faced up to a gobby teen in work, I spoke to a police officer. His advice was, honestly now, just deck the pr/ck and then say he got physical and I was in fear for my own safety!

Roy Keane shared my view on Tv yesterday that someone is going to be seriously injured unless this is stamped out. They were throwing pyrotechnics around and any of them could have had a weapon of offence.
