So does anyone know how many we have sold this season?

I’m finding it very hard to believe we have outsold last season.

Do we have any official figures released?

Listen mate you have told so many that if they don't like what you post to ignore you, that is what most posters on this board are doing. So don't complain when they do.

Who is complaining?

I am making the point that nobody has any idea how many we have sold. There is nothing to like or dislike about that. I speak with most posters on here, who is it you are pretending I don’t converse with?

This question cuts through the rubbish, as you know full well. Your nonsense has no effect on me.

Like I said it's everything that's dusillusioning me,the boring football, passing fir sake passing around the back, also the owners not wanting to show any ambition and invest...even Dougie sharp would put his hand in his pocket ,back in 1989/90,he as a solo chairman put in couple hundred thousand which was a hell lot of money for a lower league club at the time to bring walker chalmers and Hughes from Scotland,he was trying...the football the owners everything is playing its part in me losing interest

I get where you are coming from.....been around since 1976 so seen it all I suppose.
Back in those days even after our fall form the old First Divisision there wasaconnection with th club...local ownership, locals playing...people we had been in school with kicked a ball with.....
During that fall we recognised we had no cash etc....unlike now we had no trsaining facilgties of our own....but there was also something about the Vetch where there was always alomost an atmoisphere even if the game was bad....but then even if the standard of football was not great at least the team seemed to be trying to get a result.
It amazes me how we accpet this sesaons mediocrity with somesaying given how we were crap in the past we should be grateful....back in those days of the 90s and early 2000s we hadnt spent 7 seasons at th etip table with the riches it brings....back in 81/82 the old first divivision didnt bring those riches no parachute payements or broadcasting monies then....we dedint even have our own training facilities at one time we traine don a public park in Pennard....yet know we have a state of the art faciltiy at Fairwood satffed with medical and sports scienece folk....did we have that bacj then?

The rise since Petty was great again under local ownership and playing winning attractive football and that was the key "winning" football....it was also amazing that in our early PL days the club trained at a local health club and as a fan you could find youself swimming or showering next to your favoutire player....where elsedid that happen. The club quite rightly "reinvested " into its own facilities ......something yearned for since Tosh's days he as always wanting us to have our own faciilities rather than borrow Awco oitch, or council areas ..To say we should be happy eith last season because ofwhere we were in the 90 s is crap.
People say the football eas cack.....the iisue is we now have whole new generations fo fans who grew up with SKy where top level footbal eas avialble to watch....when I was growing up theonly live football on tv was the fa cup final.....therewas the occasional Europran game on Wednseday and match of the day. Goin gto the Vetrch and seeing live football was exciting and we knew little better.

Leaving the Vetch and getting to the Premier league are the reasons behind all that being lost Vetch.

I miss those days, they were great in my eyes.

and I wouldnt have wanted to miss out on that PL journey...

I miss those days...but have enjoyed our recent rise except the Liberty can be souless when we are not winning.

Back in the post Tosh years up until Flynn, Jackett at al we accpeted our lot....but now my expcetation levels are greater given the infrastrucutre we have.

I have always beleived having a local lad playing makes us a different team...back in my early days supporting us there were lots...as well as many invlolved in the back room ..

Always nice to have a local lad, hopefully Conegrove can be that player.

Our infrastructure has just got with the times as have the majority of clubs around us, we have to take that into account.

Football has evolved, unfortunately not all for the best.

At the end of the day Vetch, watching a game live is always better.
I think you can enjoy the atmosphere and get a better feel for the game.
Those unable to get to games are missing out sadly, whoever the manager is and whatever division we are in.

Watching a game live is definitely better but I don't think you necessarily get a better feel for the game.

At home you can pause, rewind, see any incidents from different angles. You can see something live and be sure you saw something but at home on MOTD/EFL show or watching a recorded game back and rewinding, watching something again, you can see it very differently.
I have seen plenty of penalties and fouls that definitely were, or were not, at the stadium but at home the tv has shown I was wrong.

at the ground is 100% more fun but the tv replays are more truth.

Even if I lived on the other side of the world, I would attend plenty of games. As long as I was rich and successful of course.

Hes from Monmouth , and it should be noted that parents are often overlooked in players development , hours travelling taking them to training 4-5 times a week so I'm glad he's in with a good chance of making the grade .
