If all of a sudden we had 50% electric car ownership, the National Grid would collapse

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

We need the infrastructure as well. I see no signs of an increase in roadside charging units, in fact I don't see any.

Watch they don't try to claw some back with what we would consider minor damage Jim, like chips scratches and scrubbed alloys.

Can't fault the service

Cheers but we've downsized the wife given up work to be full time carer for her mum and dad so we don't need 2 cars anymore and the cash will go towards what's she's losing

Many are going back to one car family's, working from home, fuel prices ect. That's why I think new car sales will never return to pre pandemic numbers.

We've only got one car, which isn't too bad as I am quite close to my work. Worked out fine when the both of us were WFH 3 days, but both employers are now looking at getting every single member of staff in 5 days a week.

Can see a lot of places going this way due to the government pressure. Puts the need for 2 cars back up.

Poll: When will Russell Martin no longer be Swansea manager?

Fair enough but some are finding other ways of getting to work if it's practical. I know of people who previously drove to work in Cardiff and Bristol now going by train. The cost of the extra car and fuel started to make it unpractical. Even to the point of considering changing employers.

She's claimed attendance allowance and got it now waiting on carers allowance the system is shocking really you have to claim within one month of attendance allowance which I don't understand the wife is more worried about her stamp if she gets carers then her stamp is paid

Sorry not read much of this thread but I bought a privately owned 12 year old Audi A6 just before lockdown . 88,000 on the clock, great service history for £3,200.
What a car, absolute gem. Took her for an MOT two weeks ago. Up to 114,000 miles now. Just 2 new tyres needed!

Jim if you have grandchildren and she looks after them her stamp can be paid, I think.
