Swansea City continue to do the business they can whilst waiting for Jay Fulton, Liam Walsh, Ryan Bennett and Nathanael Ogbeta to ponder their futures. 0

He's good enough technically but I thought him a bit lightweight, got pushed around and pushed off the ball too easily.

I reckon we could get 2 players and have change from what they want for Wolf.

This Ogbeta thing, it sounds like a major cock up. We have signed a dud.

Unlike others on here I won't make a prediction of doom and gloom OR sun drenched pastures buzzing with life, just like last season I willl give it some time and see what happens. There is a caveat though, Martin doesn't have any excuses this season. Hes had the full pre-season, he's signed players he wants.

I'll wait and see but, we can't carry on playing suicide passes at the back and we have to play with more pace so lets see what he's done and hope there are obvious improvements.

Of course he doesn't have any excuses this season, its his team.

But what pees people off is some on here constantly predicting doom before a ball is kicked.

Personally I think he's assembling a tidy squad, and can't wait for the season to start

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game
Poll: Happy to see Martin go

Agreed, keep an open mind but there has to be a major improvement in results and consistency by November.

If Downes goes and Joe comes in hopefully it will mean we can hold onto Piroe barring a significant offer. We will then have an excellent squad for a promotion push. If Joe signs it will give us breathing space to develop our excellent midfield youngsters coming through.

You are half right.
Most fans look forward to a season, end of.
Unless your team has been stripped to the bone and had no one in to replace the departed players, then always room for optimism.
Dread doesn't come into it unless you are of a certain disposition.
Cheer up eh ?
Might actually be a happy thing to enjoy ?
Like your delightful new lab ?

Enjoy you say.
Destroyed our back lawn, dug up some pretty impressive plants, chewed through the cable of an electric lawn mower whilst switched on,managed to dig a tooth into a leather sofa and right now has managed to get into laundry basket and stutting around with a pair of wifey's nice panties,my favourite ones at that.

I enjoy Fishy awaiting a corner kick more

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Wouldnt say doom AND gloom predicted. They are separate entities.

I suggest we err on the side of caution, that's all

Whether it be doom monger or happy clapper, we are all free to agree or disagree. It's all about opinions.

I thought we had a good enough squad to do better last season and I fully agree, what we have now (including if we lose Downes but Joe comes back) is a tidy squad. I am quite hopeful for a good season but I wouldn't nail my colours to a top 8 finish, not yet. Builthy could be right, I hope he is but that prediction seems a tad preature to me, lets see how the first 10 games pan out.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I like quite a few patient ones on this forum gave RM breathing space last season, if we can keep piroe and obafemi we should start well as RM will have had a pre season with the squad.

If RM hasn't learnt from last season then I won't be backing him but like I have said before I will give him a few months.

Thirty points ?

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
