| Tony Santore/Davillin 10:42 - Jul 23 with 4152 views | exiledclaseboy | Morning all. I thought about posting this here as some of you will undoubtedly remember Tony from his presence on this site,PS and other Swans forums back in the day and may have corresponded with him privately or met up with him during one of his visits to Swansea. Sadly it’s come to light that Tony passed away at the back end of last year. The thread at the link has more details. Sorry for being the bearer of bad news for those of you who did know Tony and classed him as a friend like I did. Thanks https://planetswans.co.uk/foru | |

| Tony Santore/Davillin on 16:39 - Jul 24 by Thrasher6 | Had the pleasure to meet Dav on the Swans pre season tour of America...he sent me a nice message below. A nice guy.... Thrasher6, I have very happy memories of that trip. I hope you have, too. I was and still do have good memories of the Swansea folk I met there. Thanks. I'm still a faithful Swansea City supporter and still on here, but I just no longer have the desire to post. Little reward, too much negativity toward me and my posts [for starters]. Best! Tony [ "Davillin"] |

Tony [ "Davillin"] ...that is so sad and such a stain on our club. A bloke with no connection to Swansea makes friends with some Swansea lads in America (after seeing what they have given to his boys), makes the effort to fly across the Atlantic Ocean to come and visit the place, take his boys to games, makes the effort to hook up with fellow Swans fans... ...and that is how some who follow our club treated him. Shameful.

Couldn’t agree more. Anyone with a bit of intelligence gets hounded on here. There are some people with deep rooted problems where they must attack what makes them feel inadequate. Dav also set up a stats thread where people made it their mission to destroy it despite the work he put in. A great man and a sad loss. But as you say, lessons need to be learned from what has emerged and his words regarding his departure. Very sad to hear.

It is and it is something we have to face. Some of what was sent his way was appalling. His support of Trump enough for most. We disagreed often but I respected his intellect and he seemed a genuine man. When my wifr was in deep trouble health wise, that which he sent me helped a lot and they weren't banal bland words but words that made me think about life without my wife. She survived and not long after he stopped posting and it was primarily ,as I remember it,the take over and all the puss that entailed. We have some deeply sick farkers amongst our fan base ,for sure.

Why does politics do that? I don't like Trump but I don't hate all hus supporters, I've never met them. If people took to hating everyone whom they strongly disagreed about something with, where would we be? Most of us can disagree on stuff and still get on. Those that can't may need help!

Often is the case I believe it is bred into one and it's hard to envisage anything other than that you believe to be the "truth". If one is apolitical ,like us, then it's hard to understand. I see stuff on here that beggars belief. I hated Trump simply as I perceived him to be a preening ,arrogant, dangerous Jerk. Biden seems the same apart from the preening and arrogant;he just seems feckless and inept.

Itchy, putting our obvious brexit differences aside, I suspect I would like you. That said, I am obviously still here so, yes, you are right
