Good to chat rugby Not bothered about England . It’s Wales that bothers me It’s worrying to see a halfpenny, half fit being brought back in the first place without hardly playing in eighteen months . Owens went well though until he tired . Time has called on the great AWJ . I want him to go with dignity . Great player Hard to single out individuals as it was a team effort, one that was gruesome to behold. An embarrassment . We are a joke world wide and with good reason. For people to even question ABs at Cardiff is risible The crowd were no help either .

I read somewhere that Wales have lost 34 games on the trot to New Zealand. Embarrassing surely? Open the game up, have 2 or 3 divisions in Europe. Make it interesting. Or will we see the same 6 countries playing each other each spring for 5he next 50 years? The the same countries playing every autumn?

I did and Wales could be mullered by them Their players play all over the world but still combine as a real entity

Certainly more interesting now the Pumas and Japan have improved over last 5 years. Likewise ireland and Italy have improved greatly. Samoa, Fiji, Tonga all have their moments. Cymru is the big concern, our regions are dog shite. It may never recover.

The atmosphere was flat from the start as people realised the reality ,which is welsh rugby has fallen way behind . Ironically welsh football has improved immeasurably because the administration is aligned and the fans and players gave bought into this . No such harmony in rugby . The singing ,once famous,is now a parody of what it once was and probably due to the more secular Wales that exists now. Who leans Christian hymns now?

John Deveraux on Radio Wales mentioned the poor atmosphere saying it's far less of a Rugby crowd these days.. When in the past you would have clubs taking coach loads to Cardiff and tickets were like gold. But times move on. There was also a nasty fight between two supporters one being hospitalised. Quite honestly if I had a ticket I would probably sell it .

Years ago most of the tickets were allocated and sold through rugby clubs. As you say, coaches from every rugby club would turn up in Cardiff. Now it’s whoever can afford £100 or so will get first dibs. Pure greed.

Agreed on that.getting a ticket used to be special . To me,it seems just a mighty pyss up The players looked as if they’ve been on it too. Francis physical condition is disgraceful ,yet he s our only realistic choice at tight head .

Japan beat South Africa seven years ago and have not come close to taking a major scalp since, Samoa Tonga and Fiji have been having moments for more than fifty years, the game of Rugby is a minority game worldwide and always has been with Wales being complete under achievers supported by naive and brainwashed fans who believe stuff like the reason New Zealand are so superior is because they have a much larger population which of course is not the case.

You can add Fiji to that list All their players play all over the world and there is little domestic competition I’m afraid size hides the fact that we squabble . It kills us stone dead

Not that I'm really interested or bothered about rugby, but surely the 6 nations having a promotion/relegation or a playoff with the best team in the second tier tournament would be beneficial. The whole regional rugby project is dying a bit of a death, if rugby wants any chance as a club/region sport they need to make some pretty significant changes.

Don't get me wrong, I want the Welsh clubs and team to do as well as possible and for the game to succeed. Just isn't my cup of tea. I think Pro/Rel from 6 nations would be great, Italy losing every year is a bit pointless. I get the team coming up would probably do the same, but they are never givena chance to improve. As for the Welsh game it's on its ar5e, don't think rugby has moved on since the 80s.

Well Italy beat Wales in Cardiff last time around so it’s probably not good for Wales as they are in danger of being relegated mor3 maybe than England or France. However, it may sharpen the focus and one of the top 5 being relegated would make it interesting, but maybe not good for that particular union’s coffers.

It would certainly make the last 2 or 3 games worth watching for the teams without a win. A clash in Rome to avoid relegation, much better than the current dead rubbers we get. Will never happen though for the reason you've stated.

You have become confused again i replied to a post about more countries being involved but sadly Rugby has and always will be a minority game played only played seriously and to a good standard by a small number of the world's countries so what exactly do you mean by what difference does it make saying that you probably will not remember posting it.

You re confused about the very word . It’s not a minority everywhere . Rugby League is majority sport in many towns ,for a start. And Rugby League worldwide even more of a minority What is the matter with minority anywhere

That is what you are going to have to tell us what is the matter with minority, yes it is a minority sport as i and others have clearly said but you in your confusion have got it into your head about asking what is the matter with minority, all i can say is that most of the worlds major countries as well as smaller countries do not play a or take the game seriously but apart from that if and when you find the answer to your question let us know. the village clubs now sell their tickets to local businesses to help run the club and usually to pay their players
