 Twenty six men with the expectation of Wales on their shoulders 7th Nov 2022 17:20Rob Page will select his twenty six man squad and announce the players he believes can guide the country to some form of success at this years World Cup this week. Page’s home town of Tylerstown, Rhondda Cynon Taf is the venue this coming Wednesday for the squad announcement. It will be broadcast live on BBC One Wales and S4C from 6.30pm. We will also announce the squad LIVE here on Swansea Independent.  0

Goalkeepers: Wayne Hennessey, Danny Ward, Adam Davies.
Defenders: Ben Davies, Ben Cabango, Tom Lockyer, Joe Rodon, Chris Mepham, Ethan Ampadu, Chris Gunter, Neco Williams, Connor Roberts, Sorba Thomas.
Midfielders: Joe Allen, Matt Smith, Dylan Levitt, Joe Morrell, Jonny Williams, Aaron Ramsey.
Attackers: Harry Wilson, Rubin Colwill, Gareth Bale, Kieffer Moore, Mark Harris, Brennan Johnson, Daniel James.

Chris Gunter and John Williams both league two players getting ahead of some up and coming Welsh talent such as Ollie Cooper at Swansea. This won’t be a mission to question the Cymru manager, well not much, but more of an attempt to explain why. Page, whatever you think of him has led Wales to the World Cup, and he has done that with the majority of the players he has chosen in his squad, bar a few. 0

Denmark, Belgium and Wales over the hill ? (might be Uruguay as well but perhaps not Portugal).
I was not on the case of this Australia team at all, I was on them big time when they beat England 3-1 at Upton Park as they had lots of players I had heard of but not this crowd. |  |
