At every step he demonstrates otherwise.
Let's be honest, the willingness he has to freeze players out and treat them like sh*t (Pato and Oba are far from the first), not to mention blame them at every opportunity rather than accept fault himself is Garry Monk Esque. Like Monk, it would appear that quite a lot of players would rather move on than stick around in that environment.
Latibeaudiere and Manning are both almost guaranteed first choices here and both want out. Some will say for money, but neither can sensibly expect to earn that much more elsewhere. There's clearly more to it. |  |

I would most certainly say he has, it would be quick to react as a fan pending what angle they are working on at the time and without knowing the whole story, you can see how some would jump to conclusions regards the issues the club has had to deal regards the 2.
Thevusdue is, people will always jump on one angle aslong as it suits their view or agenda and we have some on here who are guilty of doing so. |

Whittaker. Ogbeta. Obafemi. Paterson. Stevens. Joseph. Benda originally. Fulton originally. Off the top of my head that's just the ones who have lost their place in the team for no apparent reason or just been left out. Hard to envisage either Joseph or Whittaker offering less than Cullen has for the most part.

Let's be honest, even if they haven't butted heads the treatment of an experienced, proven pro like Fulton was shabby. Forgot to mention Bennett too. Another player perfectly capable of playing in a standard back four thrown to the wolves and then discarded.
The comparisons between Russy and Monk are quite significant. Both experienced lower league defenders before becoming managers, both mostly incapable of actually organising a defence, both capable of talking a far better game than they are of delivering, both fond of blaming anything and everything but themselves, both possessing egos far in excess of their actual talent, both obsessed with forcing the implementation of systems that just don't work, both capable of pissing off talented players to the point that they'd rather be anywhere else. Ogbeta and Oko-Flex despise him, the stuff he said about them and how he treated them was awful.
5 out of 25 is 20% of the squad, that’s just the ones you know of. Others as Dr W says are far more diplomatic with their views. | |

there is no smoke without fire....its bad enough if it's just Pato Obafemi and Piroe...yet has been said there have been "Issues " with Fulton,Ogebeta,BendA and others during Martin's tenure ....it seems this man has worked his magic on many not allowing them to see reality.....
it's just like after the win last night... the first in 8 games and where the manager changed formation system and tactics yet his fanboys fawn believing it was just a matter or time before his process worked
this egotist is no.manager but it seems we are stuck with the fraud....
it just amazes me how still many have not seen the light....yes he is the manager of our team.. and I'm chuffed with last nights win...BUT this fraud is doing us a huge amount of harm | |

The named pair have said nothing publically. Martin has about them though. It's an odd double standard. Russy can slag players off all he likes in press conferences and the players get blamed for it.
I would imagine that some are not backward in expressing their displeasure to RM's face and pay the penalty. Others stay quieter. Some, like our esteemed Captain, must come across as the Phil Neal to Russy's Graham Taylor (deep cut for the oldies courtesy of the original and best Neath_Jack there). | |

Agree that his treatment of certain players has been odd.
However, due to these individuals professionalism, they have not "butted heads" and been named and shamed ( rightly or wrongly) by Martin.
So Dr P's list is 3 out of how many in two seasons? | |
