Life often throws you (sorry for the Americanism) a "curve ball" and all you can do is deal with it and move on.
What always triggers me is when the small things go wrong, things that we can control that we let go wrong, I always find them more annoying than when big things go wrong. Those big things are usually outside our control. My wife often moans that a litle thing will make me angry but when we've had a big problem she's been amazed that I can stay calm and just get on with it.
I often say don't worry about things outside your control, all you can do is deal with them and getting angry or panicking won't help.
Its that attitude that has also helped me become calmer and happier, my personal health problems also showed me there is always somebody worse off and to appreciate what you have got.
I prefer doing stuff to collecting stuff and recently, myself and my son starting to away games again and meeting some of the other indy posters and making new friends, that made me happy. Little things  | | | |
