🔴 Will you be renewing your 2023/24 season ticket ? on 19:54 - Feb 5 by Boundy
I'm no lover of Martin but its just how see it, yesterday's first half performance was at times ajoy to watch and if we'd won I'm sure none of the many threads concerning him and the owners would exist but we didn't so the fallout continues. As I've said many times if the teams successful then so is he and if it happens to be Russell Martin then that's good enough me
We didn’t . You’re correct Again ,we failed to play for the duration of the game. Being good one half means nothing when you capitulate and ship two goal in injury time. This is not something unknown to us,proof alone that the coach is not doing the job.

Another eight votes required.
Even if they all vote yes, most people who voted plan on not renewing.
I'm not going to try and say it's representative of our whole support but surely it still is a large chunk of our support. The only message our owners will understand is an attack on their bottom line.
If they want our support they must do what is best for the club. They cannot keep weakening the playing squad. We will end up in a death spiral, a slow, painful slump to the bottom. Nobody, or at least most of us don't expect (or didn't, to be accurate) a major spending spree but we expected some common sense signings. All we got was more verbose BS.

It’s representative of an element of our support correct. Be that of a certain gender and age.
I will add there has to be another element.
Trust in the process 😉

A random poll on the Internet where you don't have to be a season ticket holder to vote is not reflective. If it was true you would have under 7,000 season ticket holders next season, can you see it? Everyone by me is or has renewed, but we have all been there since the stadium opened.

“If we’d won”…
isn’t that like saying “if we’d signed 10 players and spent £100m”…
You made a point regarding continuous mistakes. That would fall under Martin, not the owners.
This January wasn’t a “mistake” it was simply what transpired. One that was probably for the best for many reasons.
Wasting money on players for Martin to not use is not something I advocate for, especially when sat in 13th, with 2 wins in 15 (one vs 10 men after 20 mins). We need to be saving those funds until we can mount an assault with a proper manager.

I didn't say it waa reflective but still, there could be a noticeable drop is ST sales.
From another angle, some of the attendances they have announced have been clearly wrong, maybe it's all the tickets sold but certainly, at some ganes, the announced crowd has been higher than the bums on seats crowd number.
For me, it's more BS from the owners, trying to sell us the idea that all is ok because crowds are still good.

I'm not saying everything is OK because it's not. Season ticket sales are fluid some drop off and others buy for the first time. If nothing changes sales will be down, but expecting a 50% drop off is just ridiculous.

No it's' not like saying that at all as well you know. as pointed out to you by myself and others the yanks have made public apologies for making "mistakes " (some cynics amongst us may think making consciously poor decisions) during transfer windows . Are you happy with the fact we have no experience goalkeeper to cover Fisher , that decision was probably the best I hear you say ,I'm sure you'll enlighten myself and others why that would be .
