I’ve renewed, My cousin has renewed, my uncle has renewed, my nephew has renewed, my dads mate has renewed. We all sit together in the west stand. That’s what it’s all about. I’ve been a season ticket holder for 45 years now. Had my first season at the age of 4 down the vetch. As a club and supporters we’ve been in far worse positions than this. The team and the club need us more than ever. I can understand the disappointment and frustration etc but without fans there is no club or team.

Why wouldn’t you? TBH I'd rather share the ground with 3,000 die hard fans than the wetwipes who fold when we aren’t brilliant.
It's not to do with us not being brilliant though, I was always there when things were much, much worse.
The point is the owners are taking us for mugs and the manager is rubbish. The team is more capable than we are seeing, that's because the manager is incompetent.
Were the Blackpool fans not true supporters for forcing change at ther place? Admittedly it didnt go so well in the end but they took action. The owners need to be sent a message and how do we do that?

Absolutely. Supporting the team in adversity (and we’ve been in much worse situations than this) is much bigger than the board or the manager or the disconnect people feel with the players.
If you give up now, but come back in 5/10/whatever years when we’re successful, you’re not a supporter, you’re a consumer.

Now have the time and inclination to go, used to play, then wanted quality time for a young family and taking both son and daughter to their preferred activities before getting four season ticket when the new stadium was built and I have had one ever since. The family's commitments have meant as a family we no longer go but I do as football has always been apart of my life so will be renewing again, will I miss the odd game yes but it won't be to watch the rugby as seem to be the case at yesterday's game. I will be renewing but if family commitments like taking grand children to play football when their parents can't take them, arise then maybe not but by then should qualify for senior ticket so maybe I would buy one anyway. Life gets in the way but not often, didn't get a season ticket in the Toshack years, went for a year before they got promoted to the First Division but even the lure of top flight didn't override to urge to play football. Still kick every ball while watching.

Have not renewed and doubt i will, i just think i am putting money in the pockets of those that own us whilst they are simply no good what so ever for the club, and that bugs me big time, just as much as the oh so gullible and dimwitted 50% of our fan base who have defended them and this smooth talking clown of a manager.
You choose your words in a way that discloses your lack of ability to converse or enter in to dialogue which in turn gives you little air in the real world of this subject. This website criticises where it’s due and praises equally in turn. Martin has been on the receiving end on numerous occasions for his tactics and strategy, I would say the reason you can’t understand it is because it isn’t inflammatory or full of insults like the majority of your posts. In fact it is more than evident it is.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Your comment 'Admittedly it didnt go so well in the end but they took action' Sums up the reason most supporters are satisfied (at least) with the way the club is run. We have seen what bad management results in both here and with other teams. Do we want better? Of course. Nothing to do with 'backbone'. Most supporters don’t run multi-milllion£ / $ companies and have little idea of what is going on behind the scenes. Last week supporters were giving some of us a hard time for suggestion the job is too much for Martin, today fewer think he’s got what it takes. But, still no 'Yanks out' members will suggest who will take over from the consortium. In 2014 only the Americans were interested because the Trust 'would never sell''. And, why do the 'Yanks out' never mention the 32% of the clubs owners who either do nothing or actively create problems? Where is their contribution to squad improvement? 32% is a massive stake.

The 3rd manager we have in the championship banging his head against the wall. No wonder the managerial targets lined up before Martin turned us down, word gets around, why would any decent manager come to us and be in the same predicament.
The owners need to decide what they want from our club, if its a profit, they won't get that without promotion. To do this they need to listen to the professionals and act. If they are here for the long run, they need to seriously look at the reputation they are getting in the footballing world. Either way unless they change they and finished here, move forward and listen or get out.

I think any competent manager can guide this team into the playoffs, especially with the continued support of the ownership putting in historical record sums of personally sourced money into the club.

Jake Silverstein is the most enthusiastic and open owner we have had since I’ve been a supporter. His involvement is very exciting, and far more passionate and open than anything we saw from the old board, he doesn’t even go into the box when he watches the games, he watches from the stands with the fans. He’s deeply invested both emotionally and financially.
Levien is a different operator, as is Kaplan. All different personalities. But they are all part of the same ownership group and all working together to do what’s best for the club.

You honestly believe that ? break it down in segments if you wish but please show some examples of his enthusiasm, openness , involvement and passion for the Club because all I see is a distant investment group who have shown none of what you discribe , not a bit .You're defending the yanks because your gripe is against Russell pure and simple and as the old saying goes any enemy of my enemy is my friend.
