| Indy support falls 17:28 - Mar 3 with 8139 views | SullutaCreturned | I'm surprised nobody has posted this, https://www.walesonline.co.uk/ It also looks like Plaid Cymru are in disarray, https://www.walesonline.co.uk/ It's not really a good look, is it? Plaid and thir great Welsh hope are nothing more than a clique of self serving no hopers and the Indy support hit a high but now support is waning as it looks much like Labour will thrash the tories in the next GE and with Sturgeon going it appears indy support in Scotland has fallen too. Reports of the death of the UK seem quite premature! | | | | |
| Indy support falls on 08:17 - Mar 15 with 1209 views | felixstowe_jack | All three SNP candidates promised independence within 5 years. This is despite knowing that support for Scottish independence has fallen to 39% and that there won't even be an independence referendum in the next 5 years. Have they not learned anything from Nicola disastrous policies since she became leader in 2014. | |

Amazing only 72,000 members of the SNP down 40% from its peak in 2019. 72,000 trying to force independence on the unwilling majority.

It was never going to happen. Every time I visit Scotland and discuss independence I am told the majority by far don't want it. Its the same in Wales the minority think if they shout loud enough it will happen, it won't.

37.7% of the eligible electorate voted for Independence in 2014. Barely a third of them. The rest either voted no or didn't care enough about independence to get out and vote for it. Hard to imagine that number rising since given the devastation happening to Scottish Society whilst wee Jimmy obsessed over either Independence or letting men use women's toilets. The Scots and the Welsh public have seen the shambles of both devolved governments, and shudder to think how bad it would get if the clowns had even more power.

| Indy support falls on 18:35 - Mar 13 by SullutaCreturned | Point by point.. You couldn't if you tried. There isn't a gang on here, nobody is ganging up on you it's just that a lot of people disagree with you which is being polite. I would say different or minority views are not wrong just because they are different or in the minority and then...there's you. Irony, you are always saying others don't think or should think like you. Most people in the UK still love the Royals apparently. I'm not a fan of them or the Lords but my view is different and in the minority. Drakeford wraps himself in the Welsh flag, he likes to come across as nice but as soon as he's challenged in the Senedd the spite pours out of him. Now unthinking voters, you voted Plaid didnt you? Tat could be enough saidbut I will point out I didn't vote for any party, I went for an independent Green candidate here. I liked what they had to say. I thought about it. You are right though, too many people vote like sheep. Is that thinking enough for you? |
I am not sure that being a ‘cop out’ merchant is the clever position that you think it is. I voted against the Tory party. If everyone had done that, then the failure if the Brexit years would have hurt less. You obviously had no care about what an unbridled right wing Tory government would visit upon our working people. Shame on you. Professor Drakers is a unionist. I am not sure why you dont understand this. You do need to think. Maybe give it a try ?

If you post on a thread, you should be able to post on the headline topic, not try and take it off topic to cover the shortfalls in your argument.

If he does, we’ll probably have to wait three days like his reply to Cat above so he can dream up some kind of argument.

I see the chief executive of the SNP has resigned over the membership dispute. He says he has become a distraction to the leadership elections. Peter Murrell, by the way, the husband of Nichola Sturgeon. Talk about keeping it in the family.

Ah, so not voting the way you want me to is a cop out, you still don't believe in democracy I see. You still think you know how everyone should vote, you'd be better off in China instead of telling people here how they should vote. Nice to see you have finally admitted Drakers is a Unionist, ironic that you claim I don't understand this when it was me telling you he was a Unionist after you claimed he wanted Indy. Frgotten that have you...selective memory again. Put your brain into gear or you'll continue making absurdly wrong posts and givng us things to laugh at. Now then, how do you feel about indy support collapsing?
