Fireplace, hey? Amazing bits of kit. I've been pillion and by god it's not for the feint hearted!
I think Michael will overtake his uncle’s record John Mac now too far behind
Michael wins again, Hickman pushed him hard though, Michael looks a class above this week, 24, TT wins now.
Not sure Hickman enjoys the Middleweight Competitions he's a big lad to be a smaller machine, he didn't look comfortable the weekend on the Triumph, the BM suits him, he was superb on the stock M1000rr.
Special mention for Torras Martinez who was sadly killed today, yet another fatality in that Alpine Section, think there's been 4 or more killed in that section over the last few years, its was a Father and Son in a sidecar last year, Tragic.
Peter Hickman star of the TT today awesome performance well on his way to being another TT great, smashed the track record of a Stockbike, I still maintain that the biker bikers are more suited to him, although he did win the super twin today as well on a Yamaha R7 twin, he had a bit of luck with Michael Dunlop suffering a clutch fault which ended his race.

It is insane to break the lap record on that standard of bike Hickman was interviewed right after and didn’t seem even sweaty . Utterly cool and grounded. Not for nothing are these lads my heroes
What they are doing on those bikes is nit motorcycling as we know it

There's one part of the course they break and situp before going into a downhill right hand bend and they must be less than a foot from a stone wall and there are spectators standing behind the wall, just watched the Moto GP and its not a patch on the TT, its an incredible race 37 miles full of motorcycling challenges.
On a side note there hasn't been the fatalities we've seen in previous years Thankfully.
That's no consolation to Torras Matinez and his family and friends of course, very sad.

RIP Torras Martinez
That sounds like Sulby straight on which we viewed. You don’t actually see much more than a blur. You do hear them coming through. I remember a very attractive German lady chatting me up when I was with our lad when he was 10 yrs old. It cramped my style really.
