You can appreciate two managers and teams tacticslly stifling each other whilst at the same time thinking it was a bit of a snoozefest. Very few chances and very little excitement made worse by BTs abysmal choice of comms and presenters. |  |

The whole concept of FFP is flawed.
On a UEFA level, despite it being painted as a way of ensuring financial stability for clubs FFP was actually intended as a means of keeping teams in their place. For cementing the financial dominance and thus repeated success for the Giants and preventing upstarts like Manchester City from doing what they just have done. In their way they are as potentially damaging for the rest of the game as the Superleague would have been.
At the domestic level they're incredibly difficult to police, wide open to abuse and have done almost nothing to prevent clubs from spending themselves to failure or success. |  |
