If its to spend time over here and go home then it's all a bit pointless.
I think it would be a better option to take in a free agent or 2 under let's say 20 and see how they develop with us.....a brief look and there is a handful of more than decent options we could get in using this route.

On the other hand, it would be a chance for is to take a look at him closer and with an eye on making him a permanent addition in January.

No pointless at all. DC United have a long term plan for the player with development being key in their thinking.

I would like to see Swansea player at DC Congreve, Lissah, Parker for example. I think long term development and look at thing holistically. (the big picture).

I have watched three u21 games in the last few months and seen some really technical and entertaining football I am looking forward to see the man play. I fell asleep watching Page's Wales.

The 18 year old is destined for great things hopefully. A six month taster in Swansea under an excellent coach like Wright and training with the first team will help his development both personally and professionally. If I was a talented Swansea youngster 6 months at DC would be fantastic.

If KF is the new Leroy Sane he will end up at a big club in Europe. it makes sense to give him a little taster with Swansea's own talented kids like Smith, Parker, Lissah and co. If they make good friendships it would e be esasier for Swansea lads to go to DC.

Duff can have a look at him and report back to areas to work on. It is a win win. I hope they have more u21 games at the stadium.

Levein and co are doing what they can for develop synergies. Arriola and Morris met with something less than a warm welcome. The old boy cynics are up to their tricks once again. Overdue of the bowling green.

The delay in announcing him was to stop other clubs knowing how much money we have to buy players after all the investment that was to be kept secret.

Know it's said as tongue in cheek but it's been clearly pro en those posters who believed it were completely wrong.

It's been done the other way round and I am sure it helped but the end game was the same result.

The big issue that again proves they have no clue....instead of getting a guy in to tweak it slight, they went totally against the wind and appointed a new manager totally opposite to the style.

I will probably go to the Cardiff evening match next Tuesday. I will see more good g football with the u21 than I will watching Page's group. I am mightily impressed with Anthony Wright's team. They do the right thing at the right time more often than not. Azeem, Lissah are particularly impressive and I like the look of Bates and Parker. Parker tends to shot rather than square at times in red zone areas.

No one will be desperately hoofing the ball out of play in 90+2 because this is not the best way to kill time. Everyone knows this. The best way to kill time is to retain possession and win free kicks. Harry Kane is worth big cash because that is what he would do.

Just seen his goal......cracking little movement to fool the defender to gain the space and a more than decent finish with his head.

Might be one us fans should pay a little attention to.

"cracking little movement to fool the defender to gain the space and a more than decent finish with his head"

You can't teach that, that's got to come from the player himself, natural instinct, a great quality to see in a young player. .

100%.

These are things that can be appreciated if you have played the game before.

I love that movement even watching it again, little fake and then just pops into action and makes it all look simple.

You can see why he has been so highly thought of.

Many thanks JT. Some lovely play there. I have watch 3 U2 games and seen 18 h goals for and 2 against.

Bates is a big powerful fellow. His passing was shakey v Crewe but spot on v Hull.

Hoofing the ball out of play isn't about killing time and sometimes it is the best way.

If the ball is loose in your own penalty area and you're one goal up, you don't want to muck about and give the oppo a chance. We saw a lot of that under Martin, soft goals given away because we weren't pragmatic.

Keeping the ball in your own box when under pressure is risky and you cannot guarantee the ref will give you a free kick, saftey first.

Surely everyone knows that?

Mepham won one header at 90m and not under pressure with Latvia all upfield he had oceans of space. A good team would have been calm and found a players in a white shirt and made Latvia pay. Mepham with 5 mins left booted the ball as hard as he could for a goal kick at the other end. The ball came back pretty quickly.

Even at academy level this is poor. The Swansea academy coach would not find this acceptable. When Wales actually did this the exposed Latvian tried to earn a cheap free kick favour off the ref fell over for no reason and Brooks finished them off.
