Ok, maybe you’re right. I apologise for my ignorance on the depths Zionism. Maybe I need to learn more about the different sects. Could you enlighten me or point me in the right direction please?
The point I was trying to make though, is that there’s a difference. And being against the Zionist movement and the way they want to take “their” land back, doesn’t mean you have to be against Judaism or any decent Jewish people. It’s not antisemitism! Are they even real Jews? Doesn’t seem like it to me. |

This is as ever complicated, see above and beyond. There are Zionists who advocate a two state solution. Much of Israel operates liberally with 2 million Arabs living peacefully alongside Jews and others with equal rights. This is particularly true in the North. There are Arab police, judges, lawyers, soldiers and Arab MPs.
Israel has proportional representation which often leads to a position where the more extreme parties hold the balance of power. This is the case now where deeply religious Zionists have a say, Netanyahu is happy to work with them to cling onto power. So there's a continuum of beliefs and approaches under the umbrella of Zionism. In recent years the term has been used by some to focus solely on the more extreme religious groups who are in favour of acquiring more land etc. This in turn leads to more polarisation. |  |
