I hate to say this but there’s still too much ‘Russell Martin’ in this side. Playing around the back with no urgency then losing the ball.

Performance of the season - perhaps of a couple of seasons.

You can maybe argue that Forest should have taken the chances that they had, but to not let our heads drop at 2-0 and fight back like that is a magnificent effort.

Eom is looking a bit POd??? Maybe the way he is but he’s not looking as jubilant as he should. He played well.
Absolutely delighted for Fish.

Thought Eom played well too. Whole team did for the most part.

You could also argue that we were robbed of a clear penalty in the first half. The neutral commentators on my broadcast certainly thought so.

I didn't thnk so, he seemed to collapse in celebration at that 3rd goal. Maybe was just gassed.

It was after the game. Sheehan shook is hand and he didn’t look him in the eye. There was another shot of him without a smile.
It’s maybe nothing but I thought that win tonight would have made everyone smile.

Brilliant assist. What other player would have the vision to play such a perfect pass off the crossbar to an unmarked player?

Well that was rather good except for a few passages in the game where I thought I was watching a Martin team , slow ,slow ,quick ,quick ,slow certainly from the back but all in all a more than satisfying evenings work
IMO Sheehan has a big job on his hands trying to please everyone in terms of game time.
