The chances of Malick Yalcouyé returning to Swansea next season 17th Mar 2026 10:15
The Swans have utilised the loan system this season much as the rest of the Championship. Players who have come to Swansea though haven’t enjoyed a season of success overall, despite their obvious talent. 0

A very valid post. Personally I feel that the players we brought in the summer we bought to play one way and Matos wants to play another. Again only my opinion but we need to aquire players and managers to fit a style and not continually have square pegs going into round holes.

Do you feel we're getting somewhere whiterockin?

Not at the moment. We brought in a large number of players in the summer because our squad was left very light. I would guess half have been a disappointment. Are they not good enough or not championship ready I'm not sure, my gut says not good enough but others say they need time, I was wrong about Vipotnik so who knows. We keep reverting back to the established players instead of the new players, to me that shows lack of progression, particularly with players not being developed from within. I see the likes of Coventry, Millwall and Hull near the top who have bought solid championship players instead of taking a punt on players. Im not convinced either on buying players on rolling purchase agreements where payments are spread over the length of the contract, we are just rolling over debt and restricting the next seasons spending. We will probably be selling two players at a massive profit this summer so I suppose we could call that progression, but its what we always used to do. It just comes down to who we spend it on. Take Vipotnik and Galbraith out of next seasons starting line up and there is a massive hole. So no I don't feel we are getting somewhere, but I live in hope.

I like the look of Widdell, I think he could be a big player for us, Walta and Inoussa need to step up. I think a couple of heads we've currently got out on loan will be matchday squad members next season. Will Idah come good next season, he has pedigree so hopefully yes. As you say likely to sell 2 players for good money, plus extra revenue from advertising and sponsorship we're led to believe. Hopefully we'll spend it wisely.

Wow no prob, obviously touched a few nerves. Just ask yourselves how many managers are we going to accuse of being blind and not seeing the obvious.
All opinions are welcome apart from individuals who constantly snipe negativity, nowhere to be seen when we win yet all over the forum when we lose. Your opinion counts for very little when that's how you conduct yourself.
Vitor is the most pragmatic entertaining manager we've had for quite a while, nowhere near the finished article and his subs can definitely go wrong. However the critism from especially one individual is unwarranted.
Thats my opinion if that's ok guys ?

I don’t like those , who after a win, come on the forum to insult those they deem guilty of posting negativity
Negativity is part of life as is positivity
Better to be miserable in the real world than happy on a fools paradise

You learn more from defeats
That’s why there are more comments after a loss
Moreover, folk get upset over defeats apart from those happy to lose as long as they have a good craic in the pub
BTW , players aren’t arsed about anything apart from their wages

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

“ Negativity is part of life “

It’s certainly a big part of your life. It’s a mindset. Your glass isn’t just half empty, it’s empty always.

Not only are you always negative. You are clueless and that’s a dangerous combination. It’s allowed to fester on this forum. I’d have thrown you off it a long time ago as you're dragging it down.

Only an idiot would eat a turkey curry on Christmas day

This thread has been chugging along fine until you pop in with your poison
Before I knob you off once and for all ask yourself this …
Why waste your time with a stupid negative person , like me
Clearly , you live in a sugar candy world and can’t tolerate anything you disagree with
You’ve been following me for at least 15 years
Why?
You will not change me but if I wanted lifestyle advice you are the last person I’d consult
With me so far ?
Good
You only post when I do, you never post on non football forum as it’s beyond you , you can’t debate

Trust me , sonny , I’m ok where I am and the likes of you are nothing but pitiful , so don’t waste the time you have left on this planet responding to my opinions
You are the reason why so many do not post although they read
You poison
You have no say on the running of this site which is why it is generally a much better place than it was when people like you got away with murder

Clueless ?You thinking that makes my day

Now , off you go and live well , love better and be kind

I asssume you must drive the sunshine bus full time . Personal insults I thought were a no no so I'd be careful who gets " thrown Off " the forum .All opinions are as valid as the next, maybe not as infomed as some but valid all the same.

Boundy
Remember the Sunshine Corners that used to take place by the Slip
Local Baptist churches getting children brainwashed as they played on the beach on woollen cossies
Jesus love me ,then a thrashing for getting a recitation of John 3:16
Bring me sunshine , bring me love
Every thing is beautiful in its own way

This is “ positive” mantra

The reality is “ negative”

Be ye wary of the simpleton who is always positive for behind the eyes are lies

The man on the glass never lies

Personal Insults?

I don’t think so. Just a few home thruths. He might then reflect and modify his approach instead of boring the pants off everyone constantly with ill informed nonsense.

Not a chance of that. He is clueless about football and only comes on here to rant, never more so than when we lose. He completely embarrases himself. Lets be honest if watching the Swans made any sensible person so miserable they would find something else to do.
