| Norwich City v Swansea City : Match day thread 20:27 - Apr 22 with 8893 views | ModeratorC | Only a handful of tickets left from the two blocks allocated not sure if there is another block to open. But currently on 1,064 tickets ish. š Cardiff would have taken more. Swans continue their good away form but that first half ! 25th Apr 2026 18:46This game went from a complete sleep fest in the first half riddled with incompetency to a pretty exciting second half which saw the officials intervening with two penalties. The Championship continues to baffle. 2

Watched on a Norwich thread, they said ref was experienced L1/2 but his 1st Championship game

Better first half but how did they get that penalty and what is worse was Darling's push on Cabango and mouthing off to him after Cabango pushed him away after ref awarded penalty to Norwich. Could have had three away wins on the trot

2 wins and 2 draws from the last 4 away games has really turned our away form around.

In all honesty we could have scored a couple ourselves if we capitalised on the enforced errors made by Norwich in that first half. Would rather ensue good possession with good quick play further up the pitch rather than leaving ourselves open in the midfield with poor timed pressing play. But as has been mention the points turn around away from home is commendable. Hope we have a polished home send off for the last game of the season.

Iām finding it difficult to understand how anyone can say it was a penalty. It wasnāt. I think the ref may have thought heād given it for the softish one we got (letās be honest, we donāt normally get those) so he was evening it up. But it wasnāt a penalty! Ours was. That said, I think there was a ātackleā by Burgess in the box sometime before that which I thought may have been a penalty though Iād like to see it again.
