If I was in the mood to stir the pot a little I could point out that only once in his entire career has Haaland played more than 60 games in a season for both club and country, and that was in 22/23 when Man City did the League/FA/UCL treble and he played in 61. Otherwise he's never played more than 55. Still too many of course.
Obviously to do that would be to point out that our mid Wales friend is as comically wrong on this subject as he so often is on everything else, which would be a poor show. [Post edited 27 May 9:27]

That's a big assumption. I'd say MOST fans would be questioning these 2 games at this time.
If like you say I don't give a stuff about Wales then why have I bothered watching them home and abroad since 1977, from Home Internationals, friendlies and EC &WC qualifiers? Most of that time they've been a hard watch like the Swans, those fans coming on board since 2016 have no idea how blessed they are.
I've seen us play Brazil four of the five times we played them in my lifetime but even I didn't fancy following mad Bobby Gould into the middle of the Brazilian rainforest in November for a friendly and as I recall even then in the fledgeling days of the internet plenty fans and journos were questioning what the point of that fixture was
Friendlies have always drawn criticism if they achieve little and in hindsight detrimental if players pick up knocks and injuries. |  |

Haaland is an exceptional machine of a player - he's physically strong to the point you imagine he shits breeze blocks. He is also still relatively young at 25 and recovers well and quickly from injury. That won't always be the case and why Pep has banged on about players playing too many games with little recovery time - it will likely catch up with many of them eventually and it would be tragic if one of if not the best player of his generation had to pack it in in his early 30s due to his body being shot. Ronaldo and Modric have managed to stay largely injury free and have looked after their bodies, that and lucky genes is why they are still playing competitively past 40. | |

Posters are showing their prejudice against Welsh identity. They kind of support Welsh team up to a limit. It is for them a second class following and they show deference to England. For them Bale was too good for Wales should have played for England to get them over the line and win something for one UK team.
Of course, for them any Welshman who wants England to fail is an "extremist" . Wanting Cardiff to lose to Cockney teams is entirely sensible. Favouring an other Welsh team is pretty lamentable too.
One long standing sage on here will on Tuesday raise the far more interesting plot in Coronation Street as a more interesting alternative. It has to be admitted some Wales friendlies as with England have been like watch paint dry.
I hope Congreve kicks on. He went on the USA to Los Angeles A Swansea U13 tour back in 2017. Cotterill and possibly Lloyd went along with Bony Junior . A big long term investment. It was hoped 2-3 ok f that group would make the grade. Congreve is a big fellow for a winger with a sweet set piece and long range shot.
