Clearly the NHS is not working in its current form we are currently having phased privatisation through dentistry and private health care, the NHS even outsource some treatments to the private sector. If some sort health privatisation is seriously being conciderd as a way to improve the health sector I am all for it providing we look after the poorest in society. The NHS in its current form is no longer fit for purpose and it wouldn't surprise me if run privately it would be more efficient and cost effective. We are no longer in the 40s and 50s we need to move with the times, the NHS, benifits system and for that matter pensions can not continue in their current form and drastic changes need to be made however unpopular that may be. |  | | |

They are talking about wealth taxes for the obscene rich, more money than they could ever spent, more money than countries in some cases I would guess.
The video I put up the other day they tried to say how rich these 'mega' rich people are and its beyond comprehension, the money is so much that you can't imagine it, you can't quantify how much wealth they have, they tried to put it into seconds to show how many seconds been a millionaire is worth compared to how much a billionaire is worth, compared to and how much a trillionaire is worth and its off the scale, its so much money that you just can't comput it.
Their point is the mega wealthy will continue to suck up all the wealth, all the assets and everyone else will have nothing, if you own your own house you are OK for now but it's the children and the grandchildren and future generations that will live in a World just like medieval times.
The French did have a solution for this back in the day they cut off the heads of the wealthy, they say history does have a habit of repeating itself as well so perhaps the mega rich would be advised to remember what happened during the French revolution if people start to protest about wealth inequality in the future. | |

Expert economists like I mention think we have to tax mega wealth, Stevenson talks about a two horse race, one horse represents wealth taxes on the rich which would mean greater equality and living standards and the other horse represents the mega rich continuing to pay little or no tax and getting richer while everyone else will be poorer as they will out bid you for assets (houses, land etc etc). | |
