Everything is just wrong. Major projects are delayed for decades because of planning problems. We're importing millions of people who are a net drain on our finances. Productive members of society are driven out of it by punitive and envious tax policies.
It's long term suicide, and it's not just the UK. Western Civilisation itself is at risk. | |

Celebrating our nation's 250th birthday here with fireworks galore! Yet, I see where Europe is headed, and it doesn't look good. Trump is doing what he can to bring manufacturing jobs back to the USA, and I'm hopeful that his plan will work. The UK and other European countries should follow suit.
However and to your point, here in the US, the Democrats are losing their internal battle with the so-called Democratic Socialsists in their primary elections nationwide. This splinter should be very concerning to every true American and to every true supporter of Western Civilization.
As a Republican, I watch in horror, and not in glee. The US electorate needs a strong, moderate Democrat Party that pushes out against the extreme Left, pushes them out of the Democrat Party. The Socialists/Communists have disguised themselves as Democrats in this year's primaries. The youth and White women who support this insanity don't understand how intolerant true Communists are, and I'm afraid that the silent majorities of both parties, Republican and Democrat, aren't taking this alarming trend seriously.
You hit the nail on the head in an earlier post, DW, regarding losing Western Civilization to the globalists' liberal agenda. Sounds good on paper until you look at the bottom line:

Europe's voters need to push back on the economic agenda that cost more than what they're worth. Get rid of the bureaucratic red tape that delay projects and push costs higher. And, vote out politicians who increase costly social policies that cause the UK's GDP to fall further behind China's and India's.
