This was clearly visible if you looked at the bench during matches. Sitting directly opposite you can see a lot during a game.
Sheehan was such a disappointment. Two strong caretaker spells. Sounded like he understood the problems having seen them from within, showed glimpses of offering us something else and then made all the same mistakes himself.
Even if he was heavily influenced in the process he should have been stronger, or braver in his beliefs. He was the boss.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

It seems that is more to do with Lewis O'Brien. As soon as he left it fell apart, while Wrexham climbed up the Championship.

Martin's long doldrums taking us close to relegation came to an end with what always looked to me like a quiet player revolt with the senior players doing things their way. I say that partly because I've never seen a manager look so dis-pleased at winning.

On hindsight Sheehan should of never had the job, but the club had little choice the way he turned the season around. Who would of geused it would of gone down hill as fast as it did. He was applauded for the mood change but him and O Dea ripped all that up. Always strange one to me.
It wasn't a guess from me, i was adamant it was a silly choice to hire him full time and was proved right. Never hire an interim manager !
