Looking deeper into the messages I got whilst away it seems this is all down to money, and he’s made a silly little statement about feeling loved at Stoke. Fool has only been there a few hours, I’m going to look into some of the info I missed but it seems the Swans couldn’t get him out of the door quick enough (not to the detriment of the fee) and Matos didn’t want him hanging around the first team squad sulking. The figures we mentioned yesterday are near as dammit. Peter O’Rourke has been stirring the pot on X but once again he’s completely wrong.
Trying to get a handle on Galbraith’s salary, will get it eventually but estimates are 25-30k a week. Not confirmed.

Did Galbraith have an attitude amongst the players or was it the sulking the issue Keith? It's good management from Matos and the club to get rid of a player so fast and for a great fee before they come back holiday.

IMO he never let the club down in all the games he played, even if he didnt want to be here, then away with the Irish squad, and gets injured, we are told hed be fit for the start of the season, but managed the play off games .

How bad is the injury he had? Swansea cashing in on a player who is now an injury doubt and Galbraith knowing he needs to cash in on his raised profile while he seemingly can?
As for rightback Key has had a number of injuries while with us and Parker also so is Welsh a cover for centrehalf or a first choice at rightback hence the interest for Key being seen or touted?
If Galbraith is not an injury issue then he will have gain that consistency that was lacking for the full 90 minutes of games. No doubt a excellent team player but still has a lot to learn about playing at Championship level, maybe he needed more experienced players around him at the Swansea because last season we struggled with inexperienced players in the midfield plenty of prospects but that experience for 90 minutes of the game at time was lacking. | | | |

He was the stand out player when in the midfield but because if the inexperience of a number of players equally trying to get to grips in a new environment were his, Stamenic or Widdell's positions established, defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder or out and out no10. All made harder because of his time at full back and the rotations in the midfield. How many different players were tried on the left side to get that right mixture Inoussa, Eom, Cullen, Widell Galbraith, Yalcouye and Walta was nice to have the different options but maybe too many. Sheehan didn't get too grips with it maybe the players had a little time to adjust and acclimatise when Matos arrived. | | | |

If Tymon stays and is consistent like last season we don't really need any cover apart from Lissah who can cover across the back four, unless we are looking for Lissah to play consistently in the centre of defence. | | | |

I know it is a squad game so Walta is going to play a bigger part this season. No idea (?) if we are going to get any more midfielders. Put that Walta free kick on here. That was pure class. |  |
