I did a very small one in the 90s. They’re hard going using different sets of muscles in each discipline. Glad I did it.

I did the London marathon years ago, at the time it seemed like not many had done a marathon now they all do the Iron Man and a marathon is nothing to them, how things have changed. |  |

My brother has done a few "Ironman" events including Tenby Copenhagen and Austria. He has sone the Swansea 70.3 but does get a bit sniffy about people calling themselves Ironman when it is half the distance. I think it is still hell of an achievement apart from not getting out of our village for a few hours yesterday.

I stayed in most of the day, I ventured out the garden half a dozen times pump on pond was tripping out and my sump pump give up the ghost first thing I had a spare, but I need another now, unless I can find anything obvious when I strip it down. | | | |
