Is there any reason why we can't control our borders at sea stop the boats entering our waters, France are allowing them to leave their shores and as soon as they enter our waters we are picking them up

We have to implement something to change this

Precisely. France use their police force on the beaches to help the migrants get off to sea safely then the navy comes along and escorts them to British waters. But any suggestion that we should use our own navy to escort them back to French waters is seen as somehow immoral or even evil.

Why are the French allowed to do it but we aren’t?

They don't do that.

They do what they can because it's in their own territorial waters. What do you think would happen if a French Navy Destroyer turned up in Folkestone with a group of young men who had left Britain trying to get to France?

They are actively facilitating the trafficking of people. This is what this is. We are paying them absurd amounts of tax payers money to get a grip on criminal gangs routinely operating to smuggle illegal immigrants across international borders and they are taking the money whilst aiding and abetting said criminals.

We are well within our rights to say no you’re not coming in back to France you go.

This will come down to the interpretation of the relevant laws. As ever the French protect their interests and we choose to follow the law to the letter. It's been like this forever, the French do their own thing, we have seen this years in farming for example.

Therefore if there’s no interest in assisting the UK perhaps as we did for centuries before we developed a weak minded society we do as say the Greeks are doing firing warning shots across the bows , refuse to assist in their passage across the channel including the use of the RNLI and our navy, stop all benefits and making it attractive for them to come here, stop wasting millions on giving the French our money, remove ourselves from the ECHR . Make it as hard as possible for them to come here , Poland manages it which I know is landlocked but the will is there within their political system that even if it was an island they would still protect their borders . I suspect though that there’s too many left woke in politicians in positions of power that any of the above would be implemented and the cries from the purpled haired, ring nosed , woke pride loving hamas supporting lefties would be heard everywhere .

It's not impossible to put together enough boats to patrol the perimeter of UK waters, it's a small section of the channel to manage, and to turn the boats around, we could even let the french know we've done it and ask them to escort them back.

We require legitimate craft to apply to enter UK waters, if these boats don't have permission, turn them around.

We wouldn’t have to secure the whole perimeter. Dover to Calais is only 20 miles or so. It’s dangerous enough doing that. Setting off from any other part of the French coast would at least treble the distance. For reference Normandy to Portsmouth is around 160 miles.

We don't have the ships to secure that, that's if we used every single one in the fleet and didn't use one anywhere else in the world.

All a dinghy would have to do is pass an imaginary line in the sea and they're out problem.

A bit of satellite surveillance and a few fast boats will do it. Tell the French to come and get them or we will return them within the hour.

Our laws on refugees are out of date. It is for Czech poets writing about communism or Chinese activist in Hong Kong. In 2002. the "war of terror" started based on US and Isreali security concerns. Isrealis actively and violently destabilised harsh but stable dictatorships. Iraq, Libya Afghanistan Syria.

This was deliberate and part of the Isreali strategy. These counties are kept in perpetual chaos. UK law has not been amended to allow for this deliberate process aided by UK politicians having pro Isreali sympathies like Starmer and Burnham.

Europe was very slow off the mark too. The EU went along with the US Isreali scheme and absorbed the refugees with birth rates falling workers were needed. Then Brexit happened as UK citizen panicked with 300,000 deserters on the Serbian border. Even then UK did not change the law on refugees. UK citizen thought the problem was over but with no law change it got worse ( notionally) with unskilled Asians and Middle easterner s replacing young European men and women.

Afghanistan is safe as is Syria and parts of Iraq. My next door neighbour has volunteered to return to Libya leaving his wife and kids.

To manage this return a digital id card is required. If you do not have one and are not eligible you cannot use Sovereign services like NHS, housing benefit, insurance, voting rights free schooling and other benefits.

Because the police have no powers and the state is soft with many illegals arnd legal ethics dealing in cash only and paying no tax. The thing with settled immigrants is that they are tougher on new migrants than well healed locals if they have residency..

I lived in the middle east and I had to keep id on me at all times. I accepted that my ID could be checked by the local police. It happened about once a year. Turkiye took 4 m refugees from Syria as " guests" as Suni Islam " brothers and sisters". Now there is peace they have to leave.

They gave leverage. Their children gave no citizenship and they must now use private health as determine by their id card status They are working with Syria to send them home. Turks a have a lot of experience in migration. You can be sure Christian refugees are not welcome.

We need digital id. Useless Reform are clueless agitators and should be supporting this . Kindly for your consideration. I have relevant experiences.

We’re nearly approaching the 86th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, a battle in which technology played a vital part in helping us win that battle , one vital component which helped was radar , maybe in someone could suggest we switch ours back on or would that be too difficult?. You have repeatedly told us that the crossings have become less so if that’s fact why would we need so many .

Why should we give up our freedoms because of someone who ignores our laws . You must have missed the memo in which our governments now and previously have ignored the fact that these illegals have no documentation but can automatically claim benefits , be housed in, fed and watered and turn a blind eye to some working , advocate giving them voting rights . We don’t need ID cards , we need a strong government and if the thought of Reform/Restore gaining power frightens you then toughen up because at some point should we survive a right of centre party will hold the upper hand

Ships? I'm sure we have enough fast speed boats it's not that difficult to spot a overloaded dinghy chugging along due to it being vastly overloaded and return it to where it came from

The fact is there are many within the Labour Party that WANT illegal immigrants to invade the U.K. That is why it is no surprise whatsoever that Mr Manchester now wants to put these invaders in all communities, when they shouldn't be F-ing well here in the first place!!!
https://www.dailymail.com/news

The reason I correctly predicted on here a few years back (mentioning HMS Bulwark, C130's and Chinooks) that Labour will open up 'safe' routes was based upon what happened at Labour Party conference.

Oppose the current Tory immigration legislation and any curbing of rights.
Campaign for free movement, equality and rights for migrants.
Reject any immigration system based on incomes, migrants’ utility to business, and number caps/targets.
Close all detention centres.
Ensure unconditional right to family reunion.
Maintain and extend free movement rights.
End “no recourse to public funds” policies.
Scrap all Hostile Environment measures, use of landlords and public service providers as border guards, and restrictions on migrants’ NHS access.
Actively challenge anti-immigrant narratives.
Extend equal rights to vote to all UK residents

This : some find difficulty in the simplest of tasks not that this issue is simple but if a country's government can't or rather won't protect its countrys borders and citizens then they should not be anywhere near n being in power.
Our forefathers made difficult and at times controversial decisions for the greater good such as bombing German cities knowing that people would die ,now we're too afraid in case some one drowns whilst attempting to break our laws , laws designed to protect the majority.

There's a few on here who are happy to see their taxes wasted and an abundance of the soft wokey left in the Senedd our very own party of Wales Plaid Cymru who portray themselves as the party for Wales and the party for the people of Wales, they're an absolute joke you only got to see their videos to realise that, they either walk out if they don't like the questions asked or that awful woman Sioned Williams gets angry and starts shouting, none of them are fit to govern.

The last war was chock full of problems for us and Allies
We could have given up like the rest of Europe onc France Belgium Holland and the “ neutral” cowardly countries that signed up with us when we were starting to turn the tide
The Dams was a mad idea but it worked
Cockleshell on Bordeaux a suicide mission
Narvik
Desert war with Monty
Etc etc
With the cowards we are now this country would have surrender as quickly as Denmark

It’s shameful and insults memories of brave men and women
I feel disgusted, seriously

Nobody has yet explained why we feel as we do

Is it left over guilt from colonial days , I mean Jamaica wants us to pay reparations and Church of England supports this

We’re going to give trillions to Jamaica ? That could buy some serious weed

I was being sarcastic . if anyone belives the spin emanating from the Home Office then theres no hope for humanity. The numbers alone since the messiah has arrived in post has increased .and the use of these now speciffically designed and manufactured larger boats will see numbers increase again.
There is no will to stop them coming dispite all the rhethoric from the governmemt ,not one government official when asked could give an figureon how many gangs had been "smashed" and even then they wouldn't be believed in any case, the trust in politicians has to be at its lowest since god was a boy ,especially when you see that thew UK is not unique in this issue but are in the way that we're doing nothing to stop the rot.

I was not referring to you mate, and your post makes sense.
