Personally. I think Wrexham are going to be there or thereabouts season end whereas Cardiff may not have the squad to get above lower to mid table. Time will tell.
So for me, a draw would be best but if there has to be a winner let it be Wrexham. I think however that Cardiff may win tonight. The great unwashed are turning out for this one apparently and they may have the Indian sign over Wrexham. |  |

Wrecsam should have blown the scum cvnts away in the first 25 mins but took their foot off the gas.

Wrecsam shoukd have blown you lot away in the first 25 but they took their foot off the gas.
Fair dos you lot grew into the game and probably deseved an equaliser, the keepers attempt at a save was shocking though.
You cant say there are no weak teams yet, we are only 1 game in 🤣😅🤣

If I was Cardiff I'd be reasonably happy with that. Who knows how Wrecsam will do, but they're definitely a top half team and you stood up to them well. I doubt they'd have got another goal if you'd played to the early hours.

Early days for all teams so obviously things are apt to change, but based on that I don't think either side looks likely to achieve what they want to this season.
Cardiff were poor. Would have had few complaints if a misfiring Wrexham had gone two or three goals up. Yes they were missing a couple of players, but they'll need more than a couple of players if they're hoping to do anything other than be in a relegation battle.
Wrexham are probably going to have to change their manager if they want to be a genuine threat for promotion because Parkinson's football, whilst effective in getting out of the lower divisions, is a bit "industrial" and will be too often found wanting against the better teams IMO. They'll be there or thereabouts. They've got too much money not to be, but I'm not sure PP can provide that little bit extra required to win promotion. |  |

Been the issue for many a team, the clique a game of two halves comes to mind. It does seem with the 5 subs it can turn games on its head more often but the team with a stronger bench can keep the pressure up top. A little more care/control in the final stages of each half could help save a few points in games as well, not allowing teams forward by dropping too deep defensively allowing spaces but also not going go hoe and throwing leads/ points away by leaving gaps as we throw caution to the wind.
Yes going for the 3 points is the preferred option but doing it without caution against better teams in games can spell disaster let's hope we can play our pretty football higher up the pitch quicker and more often. | | | |
