I liked what I saw at times from Bianchini. Think he suffered mostly from the same thing Vipotnik did that season; namely Luke Williams being utterly clueless.
Watched a lot of games that season where Bianchini was making really smart runs off the ball but the pass never came because the other players were too busy trying to replicate Russyball. He still managed three goals in eight starts, which is respectable.
Obviously needs a fresh start somewhere else now though. He's still only 25 so he's got time. |  |

Seen a number if wingers or wide midfielders get slaughter by opinion because the only option left open to them was the pass backward, absolutely nothing coming through the midfield to support them, it was or is all the more obvious when the midfield is sitting within feet of the centre halves, driven back with no thought of moving onto the space that has been left open to support the wingers or forward with no way of stopping the pressure applied. | | | |

If he isn't wanted here and nobody will pay those wages then he either stays, gets paid and doesn't play, goes on loan and we pay a large percentage of his wages or we come to an agreement to pay off his contract. All of them hurt the club. [Post edited 23 Aug 22:30]
