Bigger waste might be Stewart who is clearly made of weetabix
We shouldn’t top up players pensions

However we have had real warriors , like Ash Williams , who play through discomfort and minor knocks
In rugby , it’s more the case whereby most players pay with an element of pain or discomfort

We pay a sum of money for a winger with pace and good body strength but he has had injury issues to hamper his development used last season in cameo roles trying too hard to impress, it took Eom two seasons to get to the standard he is at the moment helped by new players around him. Going out on loan provided he gets game time hopefully will hone his skills.
Walta has a higher skill level but more experience game time would be of benefit to him.

Some don't realise that although the loan is season long its only until January (the USA season) and we will still have an option to sell in the window. I don't expect him to play for us again. We won't really know until their futures are fully resolved. Both may come back into the squad and be with us for the next 7+ years.
Both may sell for less than £3mill.
Either way we'll recover some of the investment but unlikely all IMO. | | | |

All we can say this year instead of filling holes as we have been doing for a number of seasons we have been building on top of a squad who had it's moments last season and done it early so we could start with a positivity. | | | |

We all like to see mangers to stay for years but they never do. If Matos bombs he is sacked .. If he carries on like this he will be poached at the end of this season unless Swansea are promoted which is a big IF.
Walta is back in the squad when Matos walks away. Sousa did not fancy Leon Britton another skillful short player. He also sent him out on loan. Walta is a goal scoring midfielder.

Normally set and agreed and part of the loan agreement. Otherwise the loaning club could develop and increase the value of the player to their own detriment. | | | |

Around 3M as it stands. And the option to buy on Walta will clear up anything owed.
Inoussa maybe the down payment, but as everyone knows the window in certain countries remains open for a loan.
Believe it or not some clubs in the Championship signed players in the last week with a first payment in two years time.

Ever contract is different. Without seeing the fine print it is conceivable Walta could return whether he or LA wanted him to or not.
Admittedly it is most likely that if he hits certain targets Games /goals etc the deal will be automatically done. One hamstring and that is down the tubes.
