I find it very amusing that there is now a clamour from the Tory’s and Labour for a change of the rules for party donations. Only recently though, over the last few days. Have they no idea what they are doing when it comes to converting people to the right ? Both parties I understand have received more donations than Reform.

The established political parties are shitting themselves over the rise of the alternatives like AfD, Reform etc. We're seeing all sorts of attempts to shut them down and subvert democracy, aided and abetted by the legacy media screaming "Far Right!" at politicians with views that would have been considered fairly centrist 30 years ago. |  |

The rules were planned to be changed over two years ago to stop foreign influence UK politics, and have been subject to a civil service review since March. Reform are trying to rush donations through to beat a change in the law, they've known it was coming, or at least should have.

The government has not given money to Angola. UKEF are basically a credit / insurancr broker who operate at no net cost to tge taxpayer, basically they enable UK business to operate in developing countries.
Nobody is "allowing" illegal migrants in, and definitely not to give them voting rights.

This is very common and not aid. The money is financing for Angola to build infrastructure at hopefully a reasonable interest rate and design and construction done by UK contractors in the main. It should include technology transfer and mentoring of the Angolan workforce.
China have been doing this in Africa for some time. Angola is pretty strategic as UK has some monster Mining companies and you will be delighted to know I an a shareholder of one of them listed in London.
UK lost a lot of trade and goodwill from Europe with Brexit. UK is doing what it has to and going worldwide. I recommend folk read quality press for a better understanding of business.
