| RAF Fairford on 10:02 - Oct 5 by Boundy | If a combined proffesional army/airforce cannot protect its assets within an armed secure facility againgst infiltrators then what hope is there for the men/women/child living without those protections |
I used to live near there, the base is over 1200acres. It is surrounded both by countryside and villages. Head North out of Fairford and the whole base is overlooked. Planes taking off and landing fly over a number of villages and towns. I was stood in a field in Kencot when a fully loaded B52 went over, it was incredibly low, you could hit it with a shotgun. There is no hard cover for planes at Fairford, they are simply parked in the open air. We used to joke about the highly secret stealth bomber parked on the apron visible to all that drive by. Originally built for WW2, it is not really suitable for the type of warfare we have seen in Ukraine, where drones have destroyed planes parked in the open. Much better to have enormously valuable assets in a desert air base surrounded by nothing.

| RAF Fairford on 08:16 - Oct 5 by AnotherJohn | The US seems to have concluded that there are too many unvetted persons from unfriendly states roaming around in the UK for its strategic bombers to be safe. |
Imminent drone attack at RAF Fairford. Hence they were moved.

Still can't get my head around why Danny Thomas is so dangerous that he has to be remanded in custody for months, while two probable Iranian agents were let out on bail (albeit re-arrested after having a bit of time to erase anything the police missed).

The real problem we have in this country is that the government(s) are absolutely terrified of riots and anarchy. They know that we can be pushed further than most, it’s in our make-up. It takes a lot for the indigenous population to riot. The riots of the 80s and others more recent have been predominantly started by black people - Handsworth, St Paul’s, Tottenham. When did white people as a whole riot? We prefer to tut louder and louder as it gets worse. So the easiest thing for the government to do is appease those that aren’t afraid of the consequences of rioting and crack down on those who are least likely to. There you have the so called two tier policing that is seen to be so unfair. The proof of this is plain to see. Any uprising from Tommy Robinson or the other Tommy is extinguished immediately with little or no follow up by the demonstrators. And if there is, the mainstream media / press don’t seem to report it possibly under some sort of instruction? That’s my take on it.

Not far wrong there . They will hope Asian immigration which UK public forced on them with Brexit will assimilate and be peaceful. We in Wales " butter up" immigrants and treat them well such that the feel loved and belong. Such things as help to get better jobs and the odd undeserved statue even. We have a good race relations in Welsh urban centres. Muslims are no threat if the assimilate and feel part of the community . Africans s need to work and not form the ghetto of hopelessness sen in USA and areas of England's bigs cities. Like we Welsh that lack the entrepreneur spirit that Asian have. Asians Di not demonstrate much either. They backed off once they got the real picture of the Manchester airport incident Jason Mohamed of Pakistani origins is more of a Welsh patriot than many on here. It is self development of course. Good for him. Welsh efforts to assimilate ethnic people is resented by some Welsh at the lower areas of the social ladder. People in benefits do not like other people on benefits and get upset when ethnics are given a leg up while themselves already lavishly treated by the state miss out . Reform feed on this calling it discrimination of white people. I just accept it for the best. There is no where in UK I am afraid to walk as a male .I lived in Handsworth for two years. Hackney for one and worked around Brixton at night. Palestine Action have lost focus by attacking the RAF .They love the attention when a grannie is arrested . Benjamin Netinyahu does as well as the heat is on the RAF not the IDF. [Post edited 21 Oct 14:15]
