I didn't know that but I wasn't laughing at her I was laughing at the mess UKIP is in and other reports say she's had second thoughts after being spat on and she knows there's not a very nice feeling towards her and that her family will suffer.

Whatever political views people hold, that's an awful thing to happen to her and her family at such a young age.

Hope he recovers fully and speedily.

UKIP are completely and utterly pointless now Brexit is happening. Their niche has gone. They have about as much relevance as the lets invent the wheel party.

Their purpose was served when they first blocked then occupied the political space sought by the BNP. Farage has admitted to such; in fact he's on record as stating "that was my proudest acheivement." Not the large number of MEP's his party had elected, not the ceaseless hectoring which brought Cameron to the referendum, nor the winning of it, but the role he played in an establishment constructed safety valve.

The report I heard on the radio last night suggested that to be the case, Farage on Victoria Derbyshire earlier confirmed there were pressing family health issues but the incident at Waterloo Station was the final straw for her.

Absolutely shocking news coming out about Steven Woolfe.

Punched in the face in a meeting of UKIP MEPs and now in critical condition in hospital after collapsing with a suspected bleed on the brain.

What on earth makes anyone think that is acceptable behaviour?

It's just awful.

Initial reports look to have been exaggerated, Lisa. There's no bleed on the brain as some reports stated, according to Radio 4 he had been knocked out and is now resting comfortably after the necessary tests have been undertaken. He'll be home tomorrow.

John Mcdonnell and Alistair Campbell had to be pulled apart by security guards backstage at the BBC too according to the radio.

It's all happening, love.

Yes - someone said on the other than. Thank God for that - the picture that the papers are carrying of him unconscious is awful.

I heard that about the Campbell / McDonnell episode - after Question Time I believe.

Although, one person that you could find some justification for thumping would be McDonnell.
