That is if the vaccines do there job and everyone has there`s, otherwise what good would a military enforced curfew be as after all the damage that will have caused once it is lifted we will be back in the same boat within months, if the vaccines fail and we certainly are not 100% sure they will not fail then herd immunity becomes our only hope. Well you may be right there, but in the future as all this progresses that trail of thought may have been totally wrong, time will tell i suppose, simply because if the vaccines do not work then we are just delaying the Covid death process with all the lock downs etc, and it very well may have been the better option to implement herd immunity from the start, as i say we will find out if that is the case in a year or so. | | | |

Traffic like a normal day. No ones listening and I have friends on the NHS front line working and I’m being told it’s rough AF at the minute and give it 2 weeks we’ll be under Marshall law as people aren’t listening. They've (the public) seen Jenryck and Cummings ignore the rules early doors, we've had the UK govt not working with the devolved governments and differeing approaches. The Tory "We'll save Christmas" promise that was an impossible one to keep and has lead to even more muddled and contradictory approach. The anti-lockdown morons who don't actually understabd the point of the lockdown and the "Covid is just like flu" idiots both of these pushing a fallacious message...

Oh no I’m no one, why would people listen to me when they won’t their own government.
Yes that’s part of it, I’ve been guilty myself ‘why close pubs when it spreads worse in uni’ brigade if you will. Thing is these rules on the face of it are daft but there is logic to it. They do it to try and keep the R number under 1. If we were at 0.8 and pubs opening would be 0.2 and unis 0.2 then it’s one or the other and unis will win out, for example. In numbers makes perfect sense but a lot of people don’t think in numbers.
Take drakefords ‘non essential rule’ on the face of it makes perfect sense. Small businesses suffering at the expense of big supermarkets, you’re forcing people to stay home and shop online and ensuring only people shopping in supermarkets are there fo food only meaning less people browsing in an enclosed building ergo less transmission. I don’t need to retort how well that rules gone down. The resentment plus lockdown fatigue has produced what you see at pen y fan with the instagamers.
It’s been sh1t show from the start by our leaders in Cardiff and London. I’m just hoping it all gets back to normal ASAP assuming there’s not another mutation which will make it immune to the vaccines which at that point I’m YouTubing ‘homemade crossbows’ and googling ‘hunting for numpties’ to get ahead of the game.
