At least he won’t have Huw picking his players.

Sousa was a very important piece in our jigsaw in my mind, in our rise to the Premier League, came and left at the right time.

Groo does what Groo does best

So now there are 3 ex Swans who are International team managers.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Agreed.

Would have been very, very easy for things to go into a slide after the hatchet job Martinez did on his way out, but despite conflicts with Huw and Monk's earliest attempts at back stabbing he steadied the ship and almost got us to the playoffs.

The work he did instilling structure and defensive nous certainly made players like Ash better and left a good platform for Rodgers

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Extreme defensive mindset and an excellent organiser of how to protect your own goal to be fair

But that’s the easy part in football as we all know

His approach might suit International football in terms of results but it won’t be pretty that’s for sure.

Only an idiot would eat a turkey curry on Christmas day

Scotland saw Swansea get £2m so that was OK. He was oversold. Jordi Gomez was on loan and Swansea could not afford to buy him so nothing to complain about there either. Hey forums are comfortable with exageration but "Hatchet job" is a little over the top.

The problem was Sousa with only a few months at QPR under his belt appeared to have few contacts and brought in Jordi Lopez who flopped. Swansea seemed to have a under developed scouting set up at the time having lost Reeves.

Sousa results were prety solid when you consider he had to blood Keri Morgan and jazz Richards to fill slots. The signings of Beattie, Kuqi and Trundle were clearly not his picks. Even then he exceeded what Potter did with much worse resources.

Sousa always liked to work with a board who recruited players ,he never saw it as his job, suited Huw down to the ground.

Mr Jenkins always gave his managers their pick. Guidolin wth Llorente, Clement sadly with Sanches. Clement had worked with the man and knew his character. It cost him his job and Huw's as well ultimately. It was a joint operation which had woked well up to that point. Laudrup Michu the club Shelvey and Bony.

Lewandowski is going to be bored up front on his own but at least Fab won't get lonely with all those defenders to talk to 😀

The most boring football Swansea's had to endure was under him...he even got me arrested up in Barnsley after a rubbish 0 0 draw where we never crossed the halfway line with van der gunn running around in circles...I seen huw Jenkins outside and said sack the tw@t...and got arrested that was in early September and had watch rest season like that....

Only defensive minded because we rarely had a fit and competent attack (he was given Trundle who had failed at that Level after it became obvious Beatie had glass legs).
But, tbf, our defence under Martinez was very weak and Sousa had to improve it ... Not all appreciated his work including our captain. Nothing will convince me Monk sabotaged our promotion hopes that season. (Read his book)
I followed Sousa's sides since he left and, Once out of the U.K., all have been very attack mindedmand high scoring.
Would have loved to have seen back at the Liberty.

Poll: Should the summer transfer window close before the season starts?
