I'm usually one to call the club / board out on such things, but those figures are misleading.

These loans are not free, we have a lot and will have paid something for all of them, plus wages on top. I suspect Bennett and Latibeaudiere also had some decent sign on fee too so they were also not technically free.

It's that surplus that pays wages and makes sure we are financially stable.We won't be going to the EFL for a loan. Winter has already said there's room for investment if we go up.

At this point the relatively small amounts of cash is pretty irrelevent, especially as it is a plus, it is the quality of the exchanges that count.
Are we better for the transfers or worse?
I would suggest slightly better.
If they get us back up £14million is chicken feed.
