Conor Hourihane hints at a Villa exit and why he loves life at Swansea City 18th Feb 2021 14:11
This week we look at the mindset of Conor Hourihane, profound and intelligent there’s no doubt, and as he says “For some reason, people work from the neck down and sometimes don’t train upstairs. And the upstairs needs to be trained just as much.” 1

Nice article

He’s an intelligent footballer. Ideal for us, he’s done well in his 5/6 games so far and should we get promoted he’s worth a year or two contract if his salary requirements fit in.

Blowing away all the rest mate, nothing negative to any other swans website, but the stories on here are top class.

OK I've changed it.

If there were crowds I think he'd be a Swans favourite and could be in future.

Him and MGW as permanent signings if we go up with Guehi on loan would be nice .

Completely depends on what league we are in for me. If we are in the championship and price is right then definitely. Premier League we would need better though, doesn't get around the park enough.

Could not agree more - far from convinced up to now. Two cracking goals apart, he is ponderously slow and lazy. Puts so much extra pressure on the rest of the midfield to make up for his lack of energy. As far as I am concerned he can only get better.

Guehi has improved hugely this season and is an asset when playing in a three at the back, with wingbacks who converted from full backs, but in another system I'm not sure where he would fit - he isn't a solid CB in a traditiional sense (Bennett, Cabango, Chico, Ash) and doesn't seem to be a full back.
He would also be quite expensive.
As other have pointed out - Hourihane if we are in the Championship = yes; if promoted = unlikely.

Guehi is a class act... still very inexperienced and learning his trade but with so much potential

He’d be equally happy and effective at centre back in a four man defence.

Regarding his value? That’s a difficult one. He could be out of our price range now. Lots of Clubs keeping a close watch on him ...

Deserved mate, you got rid of no more than six ex agitators on here and the whole feel is so much better. Hopefully the few who over step the basics still see sense or move on of their own volition.
