Anyone going to be cheering on Cardiff for the rest of the league season? 20:17 - Mar 20 with 1859 viewsDr_Parnassus

I am.

Of all the potential play off candidates, they have to be the ones that concern me the least. If we can cling on to 3rd and they can pip 6th.

Over 2 legs, if we don’t beat them then we only have ourselves to blame. Then anything can happen in a one off final.

Dreadful football team, Sunday morning sloggers, no fan of any club can be happy with that.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

They have given Mick a 2 year contract. Excellent.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

The stats are staggering.

25 shots vs 9.

Except we only got 1 on target to their 7

75% possession.

614 passes to their 216

11 corners to their 0

81% pass accuracy to their 51%.

The difference between winning and losing that game probably boils down to the lack of a natural, experienced striker.

I keep saying it but Brentford have Toney, Norwich have Pukki.. it makes a very big difference over the course of a season, and results like this epitomise it.

You are just lucky that vaulks and the rest of the team ran out of steam after 60 mins, then we just invited you on. What did you then do f all? One late shot on target? You can call us whatever you want but it just makes you look silly.
We should have been two or three up at half time

You only had two chances in the first half. What your experiencing tonight, with exception it's obvious who the better side was, is the last 8 years of total rubbish you lot have been spouting for 8 years. Deal with it. Where have you been hiding ?

OK I've changed it.

I haven’t called you anything.

I’m just a realist. You aren’t a very good side and got dominated in most areas of the pitch. The issue was we couldn’t score and has been an issue most of the season in truth. We have no experienced striker. We have kids and wingers and these results will happen as a consequence of that.

On that basis I can’t really complain about the result. However if you are happy with that performance then you really are accepting your place as Wales’ second club because it was dreadful.

Without being rude, that stat sheet looks a bit like a cup game where the minnow gets a scalp, your reaction to it also seems very similar.

Just observations, not insults.

We played more today because they battened down the hatches from the 8th minute. In fairness they were throwing themselves into blocks all through the second half.

They certainly wanted it very much. Totally committed.

Having said that it was awful football. I can't imagine watching that week in week out. Dreadful.

It reminded me of us under Alan Cork shocking but they won and that's all the short sighted fools will care about.

One thing is for certain we will be in the play offs and they wont and if one of their dopey fans fancies a bet for charity please post here.

They ran out of steam chasing us around mun.

I didn't watch the analysis but I reckon several of those shots were on target but they were blocked and not counted.

75% possession aint lucky.

11 corners to nil aint lucky.

You just did what you do, it was your cup final yesterday and the underdog won. You'd still rather have lost if you could switch positions with us, in our shadow you remain.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Over 2 legs if we aren't good enough we have no one else to blame anyway. I'd rather face Reading than you. The problem with a Cardiff game is people get distracted by the "occasion" and in any circumstance, I'd rather not get them in the play offs.

I don't think anyone with any sense would assume we can easily beat Cardiff over 2 legs, yesterday should be enough proof of that. We were the better team and we still lost.

They won't make the top 6 don't want them there either..

Norwich
Watford
Us
Brentford
Reading
Muff or Barnsley 6th.

Hopefully Barnsley then Reading in the final because I think the other 2 are better than us.

Ban me up. I’m all aboard the Cardiff winning train, just enough to get them into the spot where we play them in 2 legs of course.

No.

Completely get the logic of wanting the hoofball team in the mix to give us a better shot, but I just couldn’t stomach losing to them again, as unlikely as that would be over two legs.

I’ll want them to get a result against Brentford though.
