I've not contacted the parents yet but have had some strong leads & am in connection with some German journalists.
The situation is that I'm going to be spending a couple of days trying to track down her parents (I'm away at the mo on holiday). Now, it may well be that I either can't track them down or (for their own valid reasons) they don't want to be found."

this has certainly triggered a certain type of football fan (english?), probably the ones it was aimed at in the first place who had unleashed a torrent of abuse in her direction when the picture was first published.
Not sure the fundraiser for her was well thought through but I think most of us can see what he was raising attention to - online abuse, bullying etc longer term might be better to send the money that way.
But the amount of fans (english?) who have now turned both barrels on him and taken the view of DYSS to a whole new level of abuse is quite staggering and actually has taken the whole thing back to where it started .
