Cabango could be one of the cash sales, Bennett was benched towards the end aswell so there are places up for grabs if you play well.

I think you are right. Cabango and Guehi played so well together Bennett had to be benched. Cabango must be going if Dunne is coming in. To lose the heart of the defense with Guehi gone as well would be a major loss. |
I wouldn't say Cabango going is a definite to be honest, another centre half was needed as soon as Guehi left. | | | |

If they offer him a deal (at least equal to his current terms iirc) they're entitled to compensation. Had they not offered and simply released him he would be free with only very minor future fee obligations.
"Where a professional player, under the age of 24, has been offered a new contract by his club (subject to certain requirements that the offer must meet set out in Rule 64.3 of the Football League Rules) and he rejects that offer in order to take up the opportunity to sign for another club, compensation will be payable. This is not to be confused with training compensation under the EPPP regime (that applies to Academy players), an entirely different proposition."

Had Ben played in the Euros instead of the half baked Mepham he would have been looking at some very juicy offers. He wasn’t so, for the time being he stays. Across all independent groups he ended as our highest rated player bar Ayew and he scored goals.
Guehi had two seasons and really only became consistently good the second half of this season both Cooper and Latibeaudiere have similar potential.
If Dunne comes he'd add height but I can't find anything to suggest he uses that advantage well. Not a Guehi type defender but would fit a rigid back three alongside 2 from Cabango, Bennett, Cooper and Lati.
Not worth £1 million plus wages IMO but probably cheaper than a loan and with a sell on value. | |

Presumaly this one will go to arbitration as outlined in the riules quoted above. In the old days the seller would want to avoid this as they tended to want to supress player price inflation. Hopefully it will not include and sell on complications. Sell on clauses should not be allowed for remier league teams to avoid player hoarding practices. |  |

QPR have outbid Swansea for players Swansea were notionally interested in in recent seasons.
Dykes, Dickie, Kelman and Bonne.
Manning was one that Swansea got from them. QPR must be reeling from severe financial limits but have the 'London calling' factor in their favour. Kelman has not kicked on so far but Dykes and Dickie can be considered successes. Bonne has moved out on loan. | |
