 Another Swansea City player racially abused : This time at Luton 18th Sep 2021 21:57News reached us early this evening of yet another incident involving a Swansea City player being racially abused by an opposition fan. It’s not once or twice now these fools are being allowed to attend games and literally get away with vile and disgusting ( criminal ) comments towards players of colour. As long as there is racism in society there will be racism in football. Unfortunately, taking the knee or not, there will always be racism in society and thus always racism in football.
All we can do is hunt down the perpetrators and throw the book at them whenever they pop their vile heads up- but I seriously doubt if it'll ever go away.
Personally, I thought show racism the red card and kick it out were doing as good a job as possible on the racism front before we decided to import divisive american racial politics into this country. | | | |

The knee and the attention put on race every time an incident happens is the exact reason these people are using the subject to goad, I’ve said it before and I will say it again. It clearly is having the desired effect.
However when someone does do it, they need to be identified and banned from football to set an example that getting a rise is not worth it. Currently there are very few consequences to using race to attention seek.
You barely heard of an incident prior to BLM.inc poisoning society, now it’s reported often. It’s a direct consequence of a society that has a thirst for attention, a thirst for virtue and a thirst for weaving politics into social matters.
It all feeds each other and this is the result. Won’t be the last time either, as I have said previously, this self feeding cycle is showing no signs of letting up. |  |
