Its up to the fella to vote, everyone else did. Sounds like he was on the lash, maybe ? They even gave a mobile number for him to ring to record his vote - and he failed to call it. Its the Tory fellas fault - he failed to vote !! Nothing to do with our glorious leader.

Hello, Ebo. Long time no see, fella’. I caught a quick snippet on the radio this morning as I was driving questioning the legality of Covid Passports under the Equalities Act. Does anybody know if this is likely to be the case?

I would have thought that mandating a jab that has still not been fully approved could be challenged in court. I'm sure it's not the end of it no matter what drippy thinks

| Senedd voting farce on 09:32 - Oct 8 with 919 views | union_jack | This is all very fishy. My theory is that he was told by the Tory party not to vote and let the motion pass. Why else are none of the other Tories up in arms about this. Ordinarily there would be ructions and calls for another vote. I believe that they will be introducing a similar pass in England so wanted Wales to pave the way. He knew the vote was coming up and when Zoom 'failed' he could easily have spoken to Elin whatshername if he'd really wanted to and voted over the phone. His excuses are very poor. It's amazing if you read some of the comments how visitors are now not coming to Wales because they think its controlled by Nazis asking to show your papers wherever you go. Which of course is complete nonsense. | |

| Senedd voting farce on 18:08 - Oct 8 with 836 views | felixstowe_jack | Makes you wonder why Drakeford decided to hold the vote during the Conservative party conference. He could have held it the before during the Labour Party conference. It has always been a principle that Parliament does not sit during the party conference three week season to avoid the governming party from manipulating the vote. Clearly does not apply to Drakeford's Senedd. | |

Yes, but the silence from those opposing the outcome is deafening. No screaming for a re-vote, Why?

My thoughts are that’s it’s potentially a combination of reasons including the fact the MP got it wrong but I suspect the main reason is because Drakefords Plan A is very similar to Boris’s Plan B and if they scream and howl about it now, they may look pretty stupid in a few weeks if Boris has to bring his Plan B to the table. It’s also an opportunity to see how the restrictions works here. Over the last 24 hours a number of the tabloids and broadsheets have been carrying stories about the potential for a significant increase in flu deaths - as many as 60,000. Mix Covid and flu together and there is no way the NHS will cope. Hospital staffing levels are under huge pressure, particularly on wards which have bourn the brunt of caring for Covid patients and staff are walking with their feet. Beds are blocked as hospitals can’t move patients on as there aren’t care packages available for patients to return home and the knock on effect is A and Es are overwhelmed and ambulances have to queue outside. Throw into the mix you can5 get a GP appointment and it’s not looking good! Edit, During the summer there was a lot of talk from Boris about vaccination passes to gain entry to certain events and nightclubs - it was used to “persuade” the youngsters to get jabbed but the idea was eventually dumped on account of back bench restlessness. A few days before Boris made his announcement pulling the plug, Sturgeon announced Scotland would be introducing a similar pass at which point she was roundly criticised by the Scottish Conservatives, I though this was odd as Boris was talking about doing exactly the same thing a few days later, however Boris changed his mind. I suspect the Scottish Conservatives were “briefed” on Boris change of mind and given the green light to criticise Sturgeon and duly obliged. Not seen a great deal of criticism on Drakers move from many senior conservatives yet, but that of course could change and I’ve not followed the media closely over the last 2 to 3 days, [Post edited 8 Oct 2021 23:07]

He got given a mobile number to call. If he cant do that he needs to explain himself. Was he in a state perhaps ?

From what I've heard, he's gone out of his way not to phone nor explain himself which just adds to the suspicion. I think Majorraglan has hit the nail on the head.
