Its great that we are looking for quality young players to sign, but not good to read that Obafemi is failing to fall inline, needs to back up his idea's or his career could be over before it really starts, very disappointing.

I had high hopes for Oba, I thought his pace would make a difference but we can see now why Southampton were happy to sell.
He has a choice, he can knuckle down and do as he's asked or he'll be on his way somewhere else and it could be the start of a bad rep that has spoiled many promising players careers.
Balogun may be an upgrade anyway, be great to see him here. it also shows an ambition than some around here think is lacking.

If as seems he fails here, where is he gonna go then and we'll be lucky to get a quarter of what we paid for him, a boot up the arse hasn't helped or an arm around the shoulder it seems.

I think he needs time, the swans haven’t played since he was dropped at Bournemouth. It could be the making of him a manager like Martin.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Great news for our Academy.
Yes it is it , it shows that development doesn't stop at 21 level and continued progression in a state of the art Academy such as Swansea's shows how positive its held within the professional game, but you knew that didn't you

Are you suggesting Balogun would spend any time at Landore or interacting with academy staff? That's obviously what Kilkenny (and any reasonable person) means when they say Swansea's academy.
Otherwise it's a bit patronising to call our first team an academy (finishign school?) for big PL club products, even though it can look that way at times.

If that's OK by you I know exactly what he was implying .

Kilks is an expert on the Academy.
OK, by his own admission he even had no idea who Ali Al-Hamedi was, but he's still an expert on the Academy. Got it?
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
