I've got a glassware vinegar bottle that when I looked in the bottom always had a dead fly or two or three at the bottom of type that's extremely small! That species of small fly is known as the Fruit Fly and also known (ironically profound here) as the vinegar fly. I now sprinkle vinegar from a supermarket-bottle with a screw top to put on after usage. Yep fly's of that type can get into the smallest of holes! |  |

Aye, many people may be blissfully unware of what may be at the bottom of their glassware vinegar bottle. I noticed it once by accident and made an effort to see if it ever happened again and it did happen on a few occasions after. Amazing how they can enter through a hole so small! | |
