| Two players today Hamer and Williams 18:37 - Nov 27 with 951 views | KeithHaynes | I thought Hamer should have done far better for all three goals. Huddersfield fans did say he will get worse not better, possibly why RM wants his old MK Dons keeper in January. Williams I’m afraid seemed devoid of any clue in defence, but looked very decent on the ball. I just don’t think he is as good as Cabango, and from what I’ve seen B.Cooper. We just can’t afford to make such generous mistakes as these two did today and expect to win games.

| Two players today Hamer and Williams on 19:05 - Nov 27 with 862 views | Badlands | In the week Liverpool kick up a stink Williams is selected! Maybe because he hasn’t been playing or whatever he was poor. Played on the left yet seems unable to kick a ball with his left foot. Bennett all over the place meant Naughton (a full back) was a lone CB. | |

Hamer was exposed by defensive mistakes...how Carroll was able to sprint through our defence is criminal and then Naughton repeating what Geuhi did at Stoke last season....I think calling Hamer out is unfair...the blame lies with Martin....selecting Williams and his brainwashing of players to play his way....rather than take the best option

Perhaps RM was told to pick Williams.

Whatever the mistakes in defence, Hamer was poor today. He was beaten twice on his near post for the first 2 goals, and the 3rd was under him. He cost us 2 points last Saturday with a poor punch, and nearly all 3 with another poor punch 2 minutes later - only Manning on the post saving him.

Ah, I see. Tongue in cheek, got it. I’m not in a subliminal message frame of mind today, so thanks for the clarification.

I have to agree but even so, our defending in front f him was awful. Williams can go back to Liverpool and Bennett needs replacing. Then there's Naughton, he's 33 now and as well as he had been playing, he's not a long term choice. I hope dropping Cabango was a genuine choice and not forced by any Liverpool demands. Then there's Laird, his pace is an asset but we are so slow getting the ball out there he hasn't the space to get going. It was comical at times today, as if we were deliberately playing the ball to the player with least space. Manning was screaming for the ball but we had to pass it to Grimes first slowing it right down. is it a coincidence that Grimes gets a new contract and his performance gets worse? I hope so.

Spot on here Cat. Williams is a poor mans Cabango. He can only pass sideways or backwards, and gets caught with balls over the top. I wouldn't cry if he went back to Liverpool in the morning. Grimes slowed play down again today and hit some horrific balls tomthe wide men. Hope that new contract doesn't send home back to his old ways again. Laird, against Blackpool and again today, could not beat full back in the early stages, then didn't try Again. Poor defending too. Needs to step up.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Williams is 6ft 5in and maybe was selected to deal with the aerial threat of Carroll. Martin talks about developing players into his style and that it takes time. This should be done for Benda, Cabango, Cooper who are in their early 20s not Naughton, Bennet and Hamer who are 31-33 years old. It is wasted "development" time. Laird, Williams and Bidwell will be gone so next season it has to be started all over again. November 2022 "The lads are having to understand a new way of playing ". I am all fr patience and long term planning but young players may as well be thrown in now rather than struggle next season.
