Christmas dinner is nearly ready. We have opened all our pressies (there weren't that many) and we have cleared away all the rubbish, we always eat mid afternoon on the big day.
There's only the 3 of us here, it's quite and calm, as it should be. After dinner, when food has gone down, I shall take poochie for our traditional long walk and remember/think about how lucky I am.

Merry Christmas Cat, had my dinner earlier, nice, potatoes were absolutely lovely, 19p aldi ones, wow they tasted superb.
For the rest of the day? One or two cans here, then off to a relatives house, who are on their own, to sit with them. I'll take a few cans with me, so I'll no doubt be hammered later

It can sneak up on you 
I once woke up face down on the bed, fully dressed. When I went downstairs all the lights were on, the front door was wide open, the oven was on and my wallet was on the floor.
I lived in Trallwn back then. Nothing was missing. I didn't think I was that drunk either but I probably had a good night! | |

Never watched it, I prefer scifi, scifan or comedy. There's already too much misery in the world, look for the joy, especially at this time of year.
Right now we are watching the utterly silly "Flintstones in Viva rock Vegas" but its light years better than Eastenders or any of the soaps that love to spread doom and gloom.
Later on we shall probably watch the big bang or young Sheldon. Then I'll pop 3rd rock from the sun on. Maybe the "The Expanse" after that. | |
