He is sooo slow, that practically every game he is hauling someone down, because he’s been done for pace. He did it yet again yesterday out wide on the touch line, in THEIR half ffs.
He is an utter liability anywhere on the pitch, unless he’s the central defender.
And even there yesterday, he couldn’t turn quick enough to defend one of their goals.
Trouble is, who do you replace him with?

Bennett was good enough when he came and looked a real captain and solid player we needed.#

He's become conditioned to playing in a back five. So often yesterday he failed to move across the back line to cover the huge space left by the full back being dragged to the touchline due to our wide midfielder not tracking back.
Whether it's laziness or a lack of ability, I don't know.
What I do know is that a large number of Swansea fans seem to think that because Rhys Williams played a few matches for Liverpool last season, he must have something about him.
In reality, he only received game time due to an unprecedented number of injuries in Liverpool's defence. If Ben Cabango was in Liverpool's U23s, he would have been called up and received a few games as well. Sure, he looked ok there. He was playing in one of the world's best teams after all. He's not good enough and will fall down the leagues rapidly, as most U23 players for the big teams do.
I'm no fan of Cabango, however he looks a much better player. Why are we wasting game time trying to develop a player to earn Liverpool a few hundred thousand extra English pounds when they sell him? |  |

This. you can not play Bennett in a two man central defence, if we must play him he has to part of a three man central defence set up, and here comes the next problem if we play with a central three i personally don,t think we currently at the club who are good enough to play as wing backs.
