It is a tad meh but if an 18 month loan - like Guehi was - it could work but definitely seems a better option for Citeh than us unless RM/MA see at least one of Bennett, Nauts or Cabango exiting in the summer.

Maybe they are paying us a fee on top of his wages to get experience of a first team environment . 😉 We make some cash, they benefit as well.

He isn't coming here not to play but what will that mean for the three who have started the last three games? (1:1, 0:0 & 1:0 with Manning scoring one of the two goals) Martin doesn't seem to appreciate the benefit of a consistent defence. If he finds himself in a Williams-like situation no one benefits and or reputation in the loan market is damaged.
If he turns out to be a Guehi type it will be 12 month before he get up to speed. But is the loan for the end of this season or next?
What Cabango's re=emergence has shown us is physical presence is important but agains Wycombe
Finley Burns - 6.5/10
The young centre-half was often troubled by Adebayo Akinfenwa’s physical presence, but his passing was on point and he made no obvious errors.
Bayo's physicality has troubled many but he's 39 and slower than mummy.
Again, how tall is he? Wiki states 6' 5" Manchester City say 6'3".
A real head scratcher.

We are a club that ha become a footballing creche for Premier League clubs to board their young players whilst they grow up.
Then they go back.

Just why are we putting up with this inane crap masquerading as a long term project. We have no plan at all as we are not developing players for ourselves.

They amount of loan players we are amassing is worrying though, doesn't bode well if we got to rely on loans.

We had more loan players under Cooper mun.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I see your point. Many struggled with Bayo the beast though, his physicality is awesome.

6'5 or 6'3, he's still tall.

Exactly none are here now and another rebuild is underway, just why in loving f can’t we get a settled side together and push on, even if they got us to the Prem they'd be going back to their parent clubs.
Brendan, had virtually a settled team of at least 11 players going in to the Premiership, IIRC

Hopefully it will allow Brandon Cooper to go on loan and get game time in league 1. He still only has 30 impressive games under his belt. Another 25 will do him good. Finlay at 18 will get 10- 15 games perhaps.

Swansea now have Webb, Willaims D, Cooper B (?) Cooper O, Cullen, Garrick and Whittakker all developing nicely in leagues below. This is given them their best chance. All are around 20-22 and all short of game time. (less than one full season) This problem needed sorting and has been dealt with.

Joseph Piroe, Obafemi, Cabango and Downes are young fellows at currently a higher level turning out in the first team squad doing pretty good.

Your negative spin is tiresome. Old man whinging.
